Gift of Life is set to host their annual One Huge Night Miami Gala recognizing and honoring the people that help Gift of Life save lives and accomplish all the remarkable things they do. The gala is set to take place on Monday October 30, 2023, at Queen Miami Beach.
At Gift of Life believes every person battling blood cancer deserves a second chance at life, and they are determined to make it happen. Gift of Life is singularly passionate about engaging the public to help get everyone involved in curing blood cancer, inherited immune disorders and other diseases. Whether as a donor, a volunteer or a financial supporter, anyone can help save lives. It begins with one remarkable person, one life-changing swab and one huge win – finding a match and a cure.
At the One Huge Night Miami Gala award winners will share personal stories that compelled them to get involved in the organization as a donor, recipient, supporter or volunteer. The highlight of the evening will be a first-time meeting between a blood stem cell donor and recipient. Honorees include Romero Britto, Miami Beach Police Chief Wayne Jones, Michael Larkin, and Bill Roedy – individuals whose continuous support has left an ineradicable mark on our community. Gala Chairs include Shani and Alon Alexander, Marisa Galbut and Benjamin Garrett, Robin and Dr. Baruch Jacobs, Carla Probus and Jonas Meyers and Liza and Roy Samuel.
Proceeds from this event will help further our lifesaving mission to cure patients in need of blood stem cell and bone marrow transplants.
