The Perigon Reveals First Look At New Renderings of Sprawling Lush Oceanfront Property

January 15, 2024

The Perigon, an iconic diamond-shaped luxury condominium tower designed by international architecture firm OMA, has revealed a first look at the 2.5 acres of prime oceanfront land at The Perigon in Miami Beach. Never-before-seen renderings perfectly illustrate how the entirety of the ground plane, featuring lush greenery by Gustafson Porter + Bowman, an oceanfront pool and private beach club, has been designed as a private oasis for residents to meander through the nature trails encircling the tower, relax in the sun and enjoy poolside dining services curated by Michelin-starred Chef Shaun Hergatt, and foster an intimate connection to South Florida's balmy environment.

Since vast acreage is a rare standout feature scarcely found in other waterfront high rises, the 73-residence tower was meticulously designed by OMA to appear to "float" above the ground. The resulting first level space augments The Perigon's array of five-star amenities centered around fostering a connection to the balmy environment, which includes a private beach club overlooking the sands below, pristine swimming pools lined with cabanas and expansive gardens encircling the entirety of the property. Gustafson Porter + Bowman, the landscape architecture firm responsible for the Eiffel Tower's green spaces, designed The Perigon's gardens to feature a meandering nature trail, secret alcoves, water features and diverse biomes that include distinct plant families in every corner to facilitate a peaceful, dynamic experience throughout the grounds.

The 17-story building features a bold, terraced design that rises 200 feet above the shoreline and offers 1,250 lineal feet of the tower’s gardens. Conceived as a series of diamond-shaped “towers” rotated to orient and optimizes views from all residences toward the Atlantic Ocean, Biscayne Bay, and the Miami skyline. The design for the interlocking towers will obtain LEED Gold certification when completed.

Nestled along the tranquil stretch of sand between Indian Creek and the Atlantic Ocean at 5333 Collins Avenue, The Perigon is slated for completion in 2026. The tower offers 73 two- to four-bedroom condominiums ranging from 2,100 to 6,700 square feet, with eight private guest suites offered to residents only. Starting at $4.15 million, the residences include the highest quality finishes, direct water views, 10-foot ceiling heights and 10- to 12-foot-deep wraparound balconies. Additional amenities at The Perigon include a private oceanfront restaurant with a five-star chef at the helm, an oceanfront swimming pool with cabanas, a terraced fitness center with water views, as well as a children’s playroom, billiards room, private salon, screening room and more.

The Perigon is a joint venture between Mast Capital, one of South Florida’s most active real estate development and investment firms, and Starwood Capital Group, a leading global private investment firm. Sales and marketing are exclusively managed by Douglas Elliman Development Marketing.
