Miami-based luxury real estate development firm CMC Group has secured a $69.9 million loan from City National Bank of Florida (CNB) for the refinancing of 4000 Ponce / The Collection, a nine-story Class-A mixed use office and retail development in the heart of Miami’s elite Coral Gables neighborhood. Developed by veteran developer and CMC Group Founder Ugo Colombo in 2002, the Mediterranean-style building also is home to The Collection, one of the most successful luxury car dealerships in the United States, with brands including Ferrari, Aston Martin, Porsche, Maserati, Alfa Romeo, McLaren and Audi. MG Developer Partners With Interior Designer Nina Takesh On 'The George' In Coral Gables

MG Developer, a leading real estate development firm headquartered in Coral Gables and Los Angeles based Nina Takesh, founder of the eponymous design firm Nina Takesh Designs, have formalized an agreement for “The George,” an ultra-luxury 13 townhome development poised to be the crown jewel of the master-planned “Biltmore Square” enclave; named after the Founder of Coral Gables, George Merrick. MG Developer acquired the last parcel of land available in Coral Gables’ Biltmore Square area at the end of 2023 and is anticipated to break ground by the 4th quarter of 2024. This townhome collection is set to become a landmark development in Coral Gables and will complete MG’s master-planned community, Biltmore Square.  

Los Angeles-based Interior Designer Nina Takesh will lead the interior design for “The George,” MG Developer’s latest ultra-luxury townhome project in Coral Gables. With a global client base and over one million followers across her social media channels, Nina has designed for celebrity clients such as Jennifer Lopez, Gwen Stefani, and Madonna, to name a few. Nina collaborates with top brands and serves as an ambassador for Jenn Air. Her YouTube channel, Red Elevator, highlights her design expertise and passion, solidifying her reputation as a global design icon.

Takesh’s approach includes personalized consultations to capture clients' visions and preferences, followed by the creation of sophisticated and functional design concepts. Her team will meticulously plan room layouts, select all high-quality finishes, fixtures, and furnishings, and devise comprehensive lighting schemes to enhance the ambiance of each space. Throughout the project, Takesh will collaborate closely with architects and contractors to ensure the seamless execution of her design vision.

Additionally, she will oversee project management to maintain timelines and budgets, adding final styling touches for client approval. To engage the community and showcase the development's progress, Takesh will implement a strategic social media campaign across platforms like Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, and TikTok.

The Allen Morris Company Receives Commission Approval For Ponce Park Residences Coral Gables Condo

The Allen Morris Company, led by Allen and Spencer Morris, have received commission approval for Ponce Park Residences, a luxury condo project set to rise in the heart of Coral Gables. Located on the crown jewel site at the intersection of the renowned Ponce De Leon Boulevard and University Drive in Coral Gables, Ponce Park Residences is positioned to become the next most iconic building in The City Beautiful. On May 21 the Coral Gables commission voted a unanimous 5-0 in support for Ponce Park Residences, which was designed by John Cunningham and pays homage to the Mediterranean influences of Coral Gables while creating an active pedestrian arcade that blends seamlessly into a new city park. Project architect John Cunningham designed the timeless Alhambra Towers which is also owned and developed by The Allen Morris Company and has served as one of the most iconic buildings on the Coral Gables skyline. Ponce Park Residences will also feature landscape design by Naturalficial. Sales are set to launch summer 2024 and will be overseen by ONE Sotheby’s International Realty.

Ponce Park Residences will consist of approximately 20,000 SF of retail & restaurant space, which will house two world-renown restaurants and a world-class wellness spa. The tower will house 57 ultra luxury condo units. The units will include the finest Italian kitchens & countertops, 12’ deep balconies with summer kitchens in every unit and 11’-12' clear ceiling heights. The building’s rooftop deck boasts 30,000 SF of amenities including multiple pools, a cold plunge, a hot tub and a fully staffed, private rooftop bar with views of South Gables and Biscayne Bay.

The project will provide residents a boutique urban lifestyle experience and access to over 100 shops and restaurants located at the $1 billion mixed-use The Plaza Coral Gables directly across the street as well as the Miracle Mile corridor located a short walk away.

The Allen Morris Company will also contribute $2 million in public improvements and assume responsibility for the re-design of Ponce Circle Park, The City’s central park. The total park improvements will total over $9 million.
