The Arquitectonica-Designed Elysee Begins To Take Shape In Edgewater As Construction Passes The Halfway Point

The Arquitectonica-Designed Elysee Begins To Take Shape In Edgewater As Construction Passes The Halfway Point

June 3, 2019

Edgewater’s newest luxury high-rise to grace the Miami skyline is reaching new heights. Vertical construction of Two Roads Development’s Elysee condominium, a 57-story waterfront glass tower designed by Arquitectonica rising along Biscayne Bay in Downtown Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood, has surpassed the halfway mark. The building’s general contractor, John Moriarty & Associates of Florida, has reached the skyscraper’s 35th floor, with about one full level expected to be completed every week going forward until top-off later this year in November. Delivery of the 649’-tall building is slated for 2020.

Designed by legendary architect Bernardo Fort-Brescia of Arquitectonica, Elysee’s striking three-tiered telescoping shape will grow larger as it ascends into the sky, creating a bold, multi-tiered silhouette providing direct 180-degree water and city views from every residence. The tower’s sophisticated common areas are the creation of Parisian designer Jean-Louis Deniot, one of the world’s preeminent talents in interior design, who has taken cues from Fort-Brescia’s designs to create “classical contemporary” interiors that are serene, elegant and dramatic.

“At first sight the tower feels daring and maybe even whimsical when in fact it is a monument to rationality,” said Bernardo Fort-Brescia, founding principal of Arquitectonica. “In this era of technology, Elysee’s design challenges gravity and announces the triumph of man.”

“Once complete, Elysee will be a retreat in the center of one of the most desirable parts of Miami,” said developer Reid Boren, managing partner of Two Roads Development. “Elysee’s boutique exclusivity, idyllic bayfront location, commanding views and world-class amenities will brand it as a standout property for a long time to come.”

Priced from about $1.8 million to upwards of $10 million, Elysee’s 100 half-floor and full-floor residences range from three- to six-bedroom layouts measuring between 2,200 and 5,550 SF in size. Units include floor-to-ceiling glass windows and sliding doors, private elevators and foyers, 10 to 12-foot ceiling heights, designer finishes and fixtures, premium appliances, top-of-the-line Italian cabinetry, and flow-through floorplans with 2-terraces for sunrise and sunset views. Amenities include 2 resort style pools, a health club with state-of-the-art fitness center, yoga studio, spa with sauna, steam and shower facilities and private massage rooms, exclusive entire 30th floor Owners Sky Lounge featuring a great room, a grand salon entertainment area with a full bar and piano lounge, grand dining room, wine room, chef’s kitchen, library, and Elysee Attaché, a premium concierge service that will be available to residents 24/7 for travel arrangements, dinner reservations, concert and event tickets, etc.
