Monad Terrace, Pritzker Prize-winning architect Jean Nouvel’s first built work in Florida, has officially topped off. Monad Terrace completes Jean Nouvel’s vision for an artfully designed building that responds to the surrounding natural elements. Because of its coveted position on Biscayne Bay, Nouvel imagined Monad Terrace as a “reflective machine” which uses daylight, water, glass and steel to achieve glittering reflections that act as an extension of the ocean. Monad Terrace is on track for completion next year (2020).
