Melo Group's Aria on the Bay is now open for business, after launching sales and construction in 2015. The 53-story, Arquitectonica-designed waterfront tower, located at 1770 N. Bayshore Drive along Biscayne Bay, has become the latest condominium to deliver in Downtown’s growing Arts & Entertainment District.

Bayshore Drive along Biscayne Bay, has become the latest condominium to deliver in Downtown’s growing Arts & Entertainment District. The building is currently closing and delivering units to pre-construction buyers at a rate of over 20 closings per day and the building is over 90% sold.
Units at Aria on the Bay range from 1 to 4 bedrooms and $400K to $6 million and sold around $550 per square foot. Residences feature floor-to-ceiling glass, expansive wrap-around terraces, private elevator access, open-plan living areas, designer finishes and fixtures, European-style kitchens, and modern custom-designed cabinetry. Amenities include a 14th floor resort amenity deck with 2 sunrise/sunset swimming pools, a jacuzzi, custom-seated fire pits, barbecue grills and outdoor summer kitchens, a private spa with massage treatment facilities, a state-of-the-art fitness center, yoga studio, entertainment lounge, and a screening room.
“When we broke ground on Aria on the Bay three years ago, we envisioned a tower that not only offered first-rate amenities in an ideal location but one whose design would convey elegance and sophistication. Baseball superstar Giancarlo Stanton of the New York Yankee purchased one of Aria on the Bay’s triplex penthouses in 2017 and Grammy Award-winning record producer and rapper Timbaland also purchased two units at the building. Remaining units currently available for sale include a range of one- to four-bedroom condos priced from the $400,000's up to $1.8 million with sales being exclusively overseen by Cervera Real Estate.

Miami Marlins superstar Giancarlo Stanton toured his newly-purchased penthouse at Aria on the Bay, a 53-story luxury condominium tower under development by Melo Group now racing towards completion in Downtown Miami’s Edgewater waterfront. Stanton was taken on a private tour of the penthouse by Carlos and Martin Melo of the Melo Group, as well as his interior design team as they planned the unit’s finishing touches in advance of its completion early next year.

Stanton was taken on a private tour of the penthouse by Carlos and Martin Melo of the Melo Group, as well as his interior design team as they planned the unit’s finishing touches in advance of its completion early next year. We reported in May that Stanton had purchased the preconstruction unit back in May. The unit spans 5-bedroom, 7.5-bathroom unit is one of only two tri-level penthouses at Aria on the Bay. The penthouse will encompass the building’s top three stories and feature a rooftop terrace complete with a private pool and outdoor summer kitchen. The purchase price was not disclosed, however the building’s last remaining tri-level penthouse, home to Stanton’s future next-door neighbor, is currently on the market for approximately $6 million. Completion of Aria on the Bay is expected in 2018.

Giancarlo Stanton of the Miami Marlins has purchased a penthouse in Melo Group's Aria on the Bay. The purchase comes two years after signing what was the largest contract in MLB history. The unit is 5 bedrooms, 7.5 bathrooms and spans 3 stories. It features panoramic views of Biscayne Bay, a rooftop terrace with an outdoor summer kitchen and a private pool. Aria on the Bay is expected to be completed in 2018.
“After looking at other buildings with my broker, Ben Moss, Aria on the Bay’s downtown location with sweeping views and the developer’s attention to detail sold me on this property,” said Giancarlo Stanton.
“We’re thrilled that Giancarlo Stanton is putting down roots in his adopted hometown of Miami and that he ultimately decided on Aria on the Bay when it came to choosing his new home” said developer Carlos Melo, Principal of the Melo Group. “We’re seeing the building continue to attract full-time residents who love our central Arts and Entertainment District location, our beautiful design, and water views that stretch for miles.”
