Rosso Development, Standard International and Midtown Development have revealed a first look at Sushi Garage’s upcoming outpost at the highly anticipated The Standard Residences, Midtown Miami. Created by the acclaimed Juvia Group, founded by Jonas and Alexandra Millán, Sushi Garage brings a modern twist to traditional Japanese cuisine in an elevated, neighborhood-style setting. The lively new restaurant will join an impressive culinary lineup at The Standard Residences, which also includes Solana—the rooftop restaurant and bar by Juvia Group—and Rosetta Bakery Café & Privato Speakeasy.

Their beloved South Beach brand and recent success in Coconut Grove will carry into this project, complete with vibrant outdoor seating and an indoor-outdoor bar designed to celebrate Midtown’s energetic sidewalk culture.”
Sushi Garage’s happy hour has been a defining feature of Miami’s dining culture, and its approachable yet refined experience keeps locals and visitors returning. The menu is a tribute to high-quality, sustainable ingredients, expertly crafted with innovative culinary techniques. Offering a laid-back atmosphere, it’s a go-to destination for those who appreciate a creative twist on sushi.

The new design is by Manuel Clavel Rojo, founder and principal of Clavel Arquitectos, an internationally recognized architecture and design firm based in Murcia, Spain. "Designing the new restaurant in Midtown was about capturing the soul of the brand—playful, local, and elevated—while crafting a space that seamlessly blends innovation with emotional resonance and feels inherently connected to Miami’s vibrant energy.”
Located at 3100 N.E. 1st Ave, between The Design District and Wynwood, The Standard Residences, Midtown Miami blends culture, community and style with world-class design, amenities and service. As the first branded residences within the portfolio, the 228 residences span from studios to two-bedroom layouts, all designed with The Standard’s distinctive touch for flexible living. Additionally, owners will be able to lease their units for terms as short as one month. The project is nearly sold out and completed - with expected completion slated for Q3 2025. A lush rooftop is home to a 60-foot, resort-style sunset pool in tandem with a signature rooftop restaurant and bar reminiscent of the bold aesthetic The Standard pioneered from LA to New York to London. Wellness offerings include a state-of-the-art sweat room and fitness center, an infrared sauna, an indoor pickleball court, and yoga and stretch studios. A karaoke bar and screening room, as well as fully equipped co-working spaces, Zoom rooms and a private boardroom underscore spontaneous socialization. A dedicated Standard concierge will be available to assist owners and direct community programming.
