Navigating Florida's evolving legal and regulatory landscape following updates to the state's condominium termination laws, Two Roads Development worked diligently through the judicial process to secure complete control of the site. The resolution clears the way for Two Roads Development to advance construction on transforming this one-of-a-kind waterfront property, currently home to Biscayne 21, into EDITION Residences, Miami Edgewater.

Following the launch of sales late last year, Two Road Development has revealed the lavish, $10 million state-of-the-art sales gallery for EDITION Residences, Miami Edgewater, the global hotel brand’s first independent collection of fully serviced luxury condominium residences. The unique space will provide future homebuyers with an immersive experience into the quality of design, lifestyle, services, and amenities signature to EDITION.

EDITION Residences, Miami Edgewater will be situated at 2121 North Bayshore Drive in the heart of Edgewater, one of Miami’s premier neighborhoods for luxury, waterfront high-rise living. The 55-story tower will boast more than 800 linear feet of bay frontage with 185 bespoke homes showcased in a sleek glass tower designed by visionary architect Bernardo Fort-Brescia, founder of Arquitectonica, with acclaimed interiors by Studio Munge led by Alessandro Munge.
Construction of EDITION Residences, Miami Edgewater is slated to begin in Summer 2023, with an estimated delivery timeframe of 36 months. The project’s sales team has secured more than $160 million in condo reservations and is expected to begin contract conversions over the next month.
On March 30, 2023, Two Roads Development, the developer of the EDITION Residences, Miami Edgewater, and Douglas Elliman Development Marketing, the project’s exclusive sales and marketing brokerage, celebrated the official opening of the sales gallery, located along the waterfront at 2060 North Bayshore Drive, Ste. B-101, just steps away from the EDITION Residences site. The lavish event was attended by many VIPs and A-listers, including City of Miami Mayor Francis Suarez and members of South Florida’s real estate elite. The one-of-a-kind affair featured a surprise performance by DJ Ruckus. Known for doing things a little differently, the evening ended with a captivating drone show, lighting up the Miami sky with dynamic visuals. Demonstrating how the EDITION Residences, Miami Edgewater will shape the Magic City’s distinct skyline, the display included an outline of the sleek glass tower.
The sales gallery leaves no detail unturned, featuring neutral-colored furnishings, luscious greenery, and architecturally unique accents throughout the space. A virtual reality room portrays the essence of indoor-outdoor living, boasting unobstructed views of Biscayne Bay, the Atlantic Ocean, Downtown Miami, and the Miami Beach skyline. To demonstrate the building’s expansive floorplans and state-of-the-art finishes, the sales center includes a replica of the master bathroom, kitchen, and living room.

Former Plaza Construction CEO Brad Meltzer Joins Two Roads Development As Partner And President
South Florida-based real estate development firm Two Roads Development announced Brad Meltzer has joined the firm as Partner and President, further strengthening its growth trajectory. In this role, Meltzer will oversee real estate development activities, as well as identify new market opportunities. Meltzer comes to Two Roads Development with an educational background in architecture and more than 30 years of construction experience.

Meltzer comes to Two Roads Development with an educational background in architecture and more than 30 years of construction experience. Prior to joining Two Roads Development, Meltzer was most recently the Chairman and CEO of Plaza Construction, a leading a top national construction firm where he oversaw award-winning projects across various asset classes from inception to completion including Miami’s iconic One Thousand Museum by Zaha Hadid Architects.

Meltzer is prompted from President and Christopher Mills has been promoted from COO to President. Plaza Construction is one of the largest construction companies and general contractors in Florida and the northeastern United States with over 500 employees spread across Florida, New York, California and Washington D.C. Plaza Construction is owned by China State Construction Engineering Corp's American entity, China Construction America, who acquired the firm in 2014 from New York-based real estate development firm Fisher Brothers. Meltzer will remain based in Miami and Mills in New York City. Both started with Plaza Construction in the New York City office in the 1990’s.
Plaza Construction has built some of the most iconic buildings in Miami such as One Thousand Museum, Biscayne Beach, W South Beach, One Ocean, Marea, Marquis and 1 Hotel & Homes. In New York Plaza Construction has built 99 Hudson Street, 125 Greenwich Street and Madison Square Park Tower, amongst others.
Wynwood's Newest Class-A Kobi Karp-Designed Office Building, The Gateway, Tops Off
The Gateway has just topped off in Wynwood by R&B Realty Group. The project is a Class-A office building in Wynwood’s emerging neighborhood and new office market. The Gateway will feature 195,000 sq.ft. of leasable office space, private rooftop terrace and 25,900 sq.ft. of retail space on the ground floor.
The Gateway at Wynwood has just topped off at 13-stories by R&B Realty Group. The project is a Class-A office building in Wynwood’s emerging neighborhood and new office submarket. The Gateway will feature 195,000 sq.ft. of leasable office space, private rooftop terrace and 25,900 sq.ft. of retail space on the ground floor.
Shelby Rosenberg, Principal of R&B Realty Group, said, “This is one of the most important moments in the construction of a commercial project, especially as we are ahead of schedule amidst the pandemic. Plaza Construction is The Gateway’s general contractor and Kobi Karp is the architect. The 13-story building is estimated to be complete in the second half of 2021 and is currently ahead of schedule.

Wynwood is Miami’s newest and emerging office submarket and a hub for creative and innovative businesses. Many well known companies have already re-located office space to Wynwood including Spotify, WeWork, and Live Nation with other big names including Google, Apple Music and Dentsu looking to move into the area.
Stephen Rutchik, Colliers International Florida’s Executive Managing Director who handles office leasing for The Gateway at Wynwood said: “We are actively engaged with prospective tenants that are attracted to Wynwood because of its ‘live, work, play’ environment. This area has become a mecca for art, food, and entertainment just north of downtown Miami. While a few companies are hesitant to sign new leases just now, they do know exactly where they want to be … and that is Wynwood. One Thousand Museum by Zaha Hadid Architects Tops Off & Releases New Renderings of Amenity Spaces

Developers Louis Birdman, Gregg Covin, Kevin Venger and Regalia Group along with New York-based Plaza Construction, have announced that the highly anticipated One Thousand Museum by Zaha Hadid Architects has topped off. The 62-story tower with 83 half- and full-floor residences marks the late Pritzker Prize winner Hadid's first and final residential skyscraper in the Western Hemisphere. This milestone is paired with a rendering release of the amenity spaces, revealing new architectural details and further insight into Zaha Hadid’s vision. The project is on track for an early completion in late 2018.
“We’re now one step closer to revealing Zaha Hadid’s forward-thinking design,” says Louis Birdman, one of the co-developers on the project. “Even in its current state, the building already stands out as the most iconic architectural work on Miami’s skyline. We’re excited to have developed something so unique and special for Miami.”
The new renderings of One Thousand Museum showcase the project’s Sky Lounge as well as the double-height Aquatic Center with indoor pool located at the top of the tower. New renderings also show the Lifestyle Center and Spa, which overlooks the tower’s Sun and Swim Terrace level. Additional amenities include a private on-premise, bank-quality vault, multimedia theater and private dining room. The building will also offer a most unique asset, a private helipad, available for residents on-demand to take them to nearby destinations, which is currently the only planned helipad on a private residential skyscraper in all of Florida. Interior construction has already started for the amenity spaces, also designed by Zaha Hadid Architects.
“This is a project that will not only enhance Miami’s skyline, but also redefine the standard of luxury for residential projects,” said Brad Meltzer, President of Plaza. “We do not shy away from challenging projects, as such we were immediately interested when we saw the overall complexity of the job. To date, the project team has faced some major tests, but the project has remained on schedule and we’re looking forward to the successful completion.”
