Miami-based real estate development firms Constellation Group, The Boschetti Group and Vietmar have closed on a $42.3 million construction loan for Ella Miami Beach, a 10-story boutique condominium in the heart of Miami’s North Beach neighborhood. Berkadia secured the construction loan through the lender Amerant Bank, which provided financing for a three-year, floating-rate loan term.
The highly anticipated development, which broke ground in February 2025, has already achieved more than 50% in pre-construction sales, demonstrating strong market validation for the project. Located at 6940 Abbott Avenue, Ella Miami Beach is scheduled for completion in 2026.
"Securing this construction financing represents a crucial milestone in bringing Ella Miami Beach to life," said Eduardo Otaola, Managing Principal of Constellation Group. "Our vision for this project has resonated strongly with buyers who recognize the unique opportunity to own a thoughtfully designed residence in one of Miami Beach's most promising neighborhoods. “The development partners were early movers in the North Beach submarket, allowing them to set the neighborhood standard for new, high-quality residential living at an attractive price point,” said Wadler.
“We are proud to finance Ella Miami Beach, a development that reflects our commitment to South Florida’s growth and revitalization,” said Juan P. Esterripa, SEVP, Chief Commercial Banking Officer, Amerant Bank.

Miami- and New York-based real estate developer Baron Property Group (“BPG”) have closed on $206 million in construction financing for Metro Parc North, a new ground-up residential multifamily development in Hialeah, FL. Post Road Group, a private investment firm, provided the loan and Ayush Kapahi, principal and founding partner at commercial real estate advisory HKS Real Estate Advisors, facilitated the deal. Construction on Metro Parc North is well underway after breaking ground last month and is slated for completion in late 2027.
Metro Parc North is Baron Property Group’s second transit-oriented development in Hialeah. BPG closed on a $148 million construction loan with Post Road Group and HKS in September 2022 to capitalize Metro Parc, a Class-A mixed-use development offering retail and 559 rental homes adjacent to Metro Parc North.
“Securing this construction financing from Post Road Group continues to strengthen our vision for Hialeah’s transformation and was a significant milestone both for this development and Baron Property Group,” said Matthew Baron, Founder and President of Baron Property Group. “This financing is a testament to our ability to deliver a high-quality residential community that contributes to the city's growth. With its modern design, luxury amenities and seamless connectivity to public transit, Metro Parc North will set a new standard for living in the area.”

We look forward to partnering with Matt and his team as they work to complete the project.”

"This project is more than just a residential development — it's a pivotal step in creating a vibrant, transit-connected community. At HKS, we remain focused on delivering strategic solutions that drive urban growth and create long-term value for developers and the neighborhoods they serve."
Designed by Modis Architects, Metro Parc North will offer 661 rental residences ranging from studios to three-bedroom homes. Maple Hospitality Group, the visionary team behind acclaimed restaurants Maple & Ash, Eight Bar, Monarch, and Kessaku, has opened the Miami location of its flagship award-winning concept, Maple & Ash, in Downtown Miami’s Miami Worldcenter. The two-story, 22,000-square-foot venture - which will see Eight Bar and The Studio open at a later date - represents the group’s largest and boldest project yet blending culinary mastery, unparalleled hospitality, and unrestrained luxury. Led by two MICHELIN-star chef Danny Grant, Maple & Ash brings its modern Wood-Fired steakhouse flair and vibrant, approachable energy to Miami’s dynamic dining scene. Maple & Ash’s first location opened in 2015 in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood, followed by Scottsdale, Arizona, in 2019.
“We are thrilled to join the Miami community, where diners appreciate refinement alongside a sense of fun and spontaneity,” said Chef Danny Grant, Chef/Partner of Maple Hospitality Group. “Building on the incredible success of our Chicago and Scottsdale locations, this expansion marks an exciting time for Maple & Ash as Miami’s culinary landscape has evolved significantly over the past decade, now emphasizing quality and sophistication across all facets of dining.”
From the moment guests step into Maple & Ash, they’re embraced by an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality. The menu seamlessly marries elevated classics with locally inspired creations, offering something for every palate. Standout experiences include the “I Don’t Give a F*@k” tasting menu, which invites guests to surrender to the chef’s imagination, and the Fire-Roasted Seafood Tower, a bold reimagining of the traditional seafood display, where hearth-roasted shellfish are finished with a tantalizing mix of garlic butter and chili oil.
For meat lovers, the Wagyu Experience features premium Kobe beef sourced directly from Japanese auctions. The Ricotta Agnolotti, affectionately known as "Pillows of Love," delights with its decadent, melt-in-your-mouth perfection. For the grand finale, try the Sundae Service, a playful and extravagant take on a childhood favorite guaranteed to leave a lasting impression. At Maple & Ash, every detail is crafted to surprise, delight, and make every guest feel like the evening’s most cherished guest.
A celebrated part of the Maple & Ash experience is its extensive wine and cocktail programs. Named ‘one of the most outstanding (wine programs) in the world’ by Wine Spectator, the restaurant boasts a 2,500 wine list featuring bottles from around the world, including steakhouse classics and little-known producers. The bar program is a top-flight collection of custom-crafted cocktails and rare spirits from around the world. The cocktail menu offers classic and modern creations crafted with house-made syrups and compressed sodas. Signature cocktails include the IDGAF Old Fashioned (Glenfiddich 21yr, pedro ximenez, and maple reduction, amaro, chocolate truffle bitters, 24k gold), the Wild Jorge (Patrón Silver, aloe, kumquat aperitif, coconut, lime, habanero bitters), and the famous Espresso Martini tower.
“We couldn’t be more excited to bring Maple & Ash to Miami, a city that has truly emerged as one of the most dynamic and flourishing culinary markets in the country,” said Jim Lasky, Managing Partner of Maple Hospitality Group. “Miami’s energy, cultural diversity, and appetite for extraordinary dining experiences make it the perfect home for us. Designed by longtime collaborator Studio K, Maple & Ash’s Miami location blends bold luxury with playful touches that redefine the classic steakhouse. The space features distinct areas like the Bar Lounge, Dining Room, The Salon, and the Atrium, crowned by the “Upside Palm,” an artistic centerpiece reimagining Miami’s iconic palm tree that elevates the design with its 10,464 crystal beads.Maple & Ash’s open kitchen energizes the room, offering a full view of the chefs working with the wood-burning hearth. Unique to Miami is inviting “nooks” that deliver personalized experiences, such as Bar Bocuse, a cozy space that brings culinary dreams to life, allowing guests to indulge in champagne, caviar, and Jamon Iberico, and Petit Bocuse, where guests can interact with chefs in the kitchen over rare cuts and culinary surprises for an intimate dining adventure. Unique to the Miami location is the introduction of a private space called Studio at Maple & Ash.
