Andrew Mayer, Co-Founder of OG Hospitality Group and James Beard nominee and finalist, Brad Kilgore are joining forces on an imaginative endeavor coming this winter - Miami’s first Itameshi concept, Oise Ristorante by Brad Kilgore.
Wynwood’s top talents are teaming up to unveil a new kind of cuisine for the magic city. Andrew Mayer, Co-Founder of OG Hospitality Group and James Beard nominee and finalist, Brad Kilgore are joining forces on an imaginative endeavor coming this winter - Miami’s first Itameshi concept, Oise Ristorante by Brad Kilgore.
Itameshi blends traditional elements of Italian and Japanese cuisine developing a unique umami flavor. Kilgore will put a new spin on classic Italian dishes using Japanese flavors, ingredients and techniques.
Similar to the OG Hospitality Group model, Oise will be innovative, unpretentious and affordable. This will be Kilgore's first quick-service concept since he opened his BBQ concept during the pandemic, Alter. Throughout the years, both entrepreneurs have been incredibly loyal and dedicated to Wynwood. In 2015, Kilgore made his mark in Wynwood when he opened Alter and just last year, debuted Marygold’s Brasserie. Mayer brought his California meets Hawaiian concept, Poke OG at the inception of 1-800-Lucky in 2017 and since then moved his location to Oasis along with his new sushi counter, Miss Crispy Rice.
Kilgore said, “I’m a huge fan and advocate for the quick-service model since that’s how I often dine-out because of time constraints and budget.” Mayer discovered Itameshi cuisine during his last trip to California and wanted to be the first Miami restaurant to offer these new flavors. He added, “When Andrew approached me about partnering, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to create something approachable, fun and affordable for all types of audiences. The menu at Oise is all about exploring new flavors without breaking the bank, we want guests to be able to come back for more and more.”
Oise will also be the first Miami restaurant to use pizza from Kilgore’s newest project, Pizza Freak Co. The superior quality will be highlighted in their Japanese inspired Itameshi Pizza topped with Italian herbs, scallions, shredded nori and pickled cherry peppers ($17). Pizza Freak Co. will be available in early 2024 locally in Miami, and currently can be shipped to your doorstep from online at www.pizzafreakco.com.
Other menu highlights include a massive and never before seen, Chicken Parm Katsu Sando filled with dashi brined crispy chicken, smoked mozzarella, umami pomodoro, dipped into a caper kewpie-chili crisp ($24), a signature Udon Carbonara folded with jidori egg yolk, black truffle, toasted black sesame, and parmesan and pecorino cheeses ($25), Cacio Pepe Breadstick (made by Pizza Freak Co.) served with peppercorn miso alfredo ($14) or upgrade with an uni fondue (+$7), handcrafted Fettuccine Pomodoro pasta with an umami spiked italian pomodoro, basil, olive oil, ichimi chili flake and yuzu butter ($19), Tuna Nigiri brushed with tamari-calabrian chili ponzu and topped with crispy garlic ($18) and a Kakigori shaved ice dessert infused with dark cherry, layered with pistachio gelato, yuzu whipped cream and drizzled fun sprinkles ($14).
Chef Kilgore will also be creating Sake Slushies. Guests will be able to stay refreshed with frozen delights like a yuzu margarita, and a strawberry rendition — both infused with sake. An eclectic sake bottle selection will also be available along with curated wines and beers. All walk-ins are welcome and guests will be able to dine-in a casual and relaxed atmosphere or on their outdoor patio and lounge area.
Oise Ristorante by Brad Kilgore will be located at 2335 N Miami Ave, Miami, FL 33127, next to Miss Crispy Rice at Oasis. The pop-up will kickoff on December 21st and continue until early summer of 2024. Hours of operation will be Sunday and Tuesday through Thursday from 12 p.m. - 10 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 12p.m. - 11 p.m.

5. JR’s Newly Revealed , Interactive Mural at Superblue During Miami Art Week
A monumental new mural by renowned artist JR has been revealed at Superblue during Miami Art Week. Scaling Superblue’s exterior and visible from afar, The Chronicles of Miami imagines how an entire city can be represented through art. Recognizable faces of mayors and celebrities can be spotted amongst the city’s locals, portrayed side by side and as equals, coming together to mark this moment in time.
To create the work, JR’s mobile studio traveled through well-known and historic Miami neighborhoods in November 2022: including Wynwood, Little Haiti, the Design District, Downtown, Liberty City, and Coconut Grove. Passersby were encouraged to have their portrait taken either individually or as part of a group, choosing how they posed and represented themselves.
Following their portrait, each participant stepped into a recording booth where they could share a thought, story, or experience. Each participant’s voice is connected to their portrait through the free augmented reality app JR:murals.
Also debuting during Miami Art Week is one of JR’s most significant immersive works to date, The Machine Behind the Art: Inside JR’s Printing Press, created for Superblue. The installation invites visitors to walk through a portal-like door embedded into The Chronicles of Miami mural on the building’s façade. Once inside, visitors find themselves inside the mechanical world crucial to JR’s artistic practice. After taking their portraits in one of four individual photo booths, visitors enter the interior of an oversized, whirring printing press where their portraits escape from the rollers and float to the ground

7. Craig Robins Collection “A Train of Thoughts”
Location: DACRA Headquarters, 3841 NE 2nd Ave., Miami, FL 33137
Dates: December 6-8
The Craig Robins Collection in Miami comprises over 1,300 pieces of contemporary art and innovative design, and exhibited within the Dacra headquarters in the Miami Design District. This year’s rehanging of the collection is titled “A Train of Thoughts”, focusing on two core subgroups of the collection’s holdings: figuration and conceptualism. The exhibition highlights a collecting history that has favored a taste for the abject and hyperbolic figurative image, in tandem with the self-reflexive, institutional critique of art based on ideas-- a seemingly incompatible pair that yields unexpected dialogues.
8. Erick & Elliot Jimenez: Reclining Mermaid
Location: Corner of NE 2nd Ave. & 40 St., Miami, FL 33137
‘Reclining Mermaid’ is a site-specific billboard by Elliot & Erick Jiménez, first generation Cuban American twin photo duo located above Patek Philippe in the Miami Design District. The work is a portrait of Yemaya, the deity syncretized with our Lady of Regla in Cuba, and ruler of the seas — her shimmering dress resembling the refraction of the ocean’s surface. The figure is mostly obscured with the exception of her eyes; a customary feature within Elliot & Erick’s artwork, the eyes remaining present in the image serves as posterity to the history of Cuba’s colonialism and blending of Spanish and West African traditions. Reclining Mermaid is part of “Southern Histories”, a series of large-scale works at culturally significant sites to commemorate under-recognized historical narratives connected to Miami’s roots in the American South, Latin America, and the Caribbean. This public work underscores the history of migration from the Caribbean and Latin America to Miami, and the myriad ways in which these cultures transformed the city’s urban fabric over the decades. Produced in collaboration with Spinello Projects and commissioned by Fringe Projects with support from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.
9. The Art of Hip Hop
Location: 299 NW 25th St., Miami, FL 33127
Dates: Permanent Beginning December 5, 2023 | 11AM – 6 PM
Alan Ket & Allison Freidin, Founders of The Museum of Graffiti, proudly present Art of Hip Hop, an immersive exhibition, opening in Wynwood, spotlighting the visual unsung heroes of Hip Hop culture, including photographers, album cover artists, graffiti visionaries, and logo designers. Following successful showings at SXSW and UrbanBreak in Seoul, this showcase lands in Miami on December 5, 2023, offering a unique exploration of Hip Hop's history and Miami's own cultural contributions to coincide with the 50th Anniversary of Hip Hop.
The inaugural exhibition, entitled From the Bronx to the Beach, will showcase rare vintage ephemera from Hip Hop’s first NYC DJ, Kool Herc, to Miami’s own pioneer Uncle Luke. Visitors can expect to see the works of famed Hip Hop photographers Janette Beckman, Mike Miller, Henry Chalfant, Matt Doyle, Lisa Leone, Joe Conzo, and Daniel Hastings, alongside Hip Hop album covers designed by Cey Adams, Eric Haze, Slick, Kaws, and more. The exhibition will also shine a special spotlight on Miami’s own Hip Hop history, capturing it through the lenses of local historian and photographer Derick G and photographer Esdras T. Thelusma.
10. ‘Maze: Journey Through The Algorithmic Self’ by Sebastian Errazuriz
Location: Faena Beach
Dates: December 5th - December 10th | 11:00am - 7:00pm
The Faena Beach has been taken over by a monumental site-specific installation by Chilean artist Sebastian Errazruriz. In contrast to conventional labyrinths, this sand covered MAZE is not designed to get lost or disorient but to find ourselves, to spark conversation and build community. Sand-covered walls blend form an immersive maze into the Miami Beach landscape against the backdrop of turquoise waters. Within this maze where one never gets lost and all paths lead toward one destination, a symbolic gathering point. One inevitably arrives at the center of the maze where Errazuriz guides us to a space designed for congregation, a small plaza where we can gather to contemplate and engage in meaningful conversations.

Hidden in plain sight in the heart of Brickell, this two-floor architectural marvel, originally constructed as a private residence in 1931 by legendary architect Martin L. Hampton.
Before the end of the year, Major Food Group (MFG) will debut the impossibly glamorous Chateau ZZ’s in a historic Miami estate steeped in significance and allure. Here, MFG will introduce the acclaimed company’s first-ever foray into Mexican cuisine. Hidden in plain sight in the heart of Brickell, this two-floor architectural marvel, originally constructed as a private residence in 1931 by legendary architect Martin L. Hampton, is the only known French chateau in the city and was designated a historically protected building in 1983. Now MFG, in collaboration with the visionary Ken Fulk, Inc., have meticulously restored the estate to its former splendor.
The first level of the reimagined manor features MFG’s first-ever Mexican concept—a glitzy restaurant with impeccable cuisine, an extensive collection of the rarest tequilas, a stunning solarium, a vibrant bar and lounge, and idyllic outdoor gardens. The second level of Chateau ZZ’s, meanwhile, is strictly private and available exclusively to members of ZZ’s Club. At Chateau ZZ’s, tuxedo-clad service captains will orchestrate a journey through iconic Mexicans dishes; features include a table-side guacamole presentation, Sweet Corn Elote, Lobster Aguachile Verde, Ribeye Pastor, and so much more, all presented with MFG’s famed sense of flair.
This endeavor not only signifies the group's first foray into a vast and rich culinary realm but also marks the unveiling of the estate to the public. Paying homage to the address' rich history, Chateau ZZ's stands as a testament to Major Food Group's commitment to revitalizing and preserving historic landmarks.
Originally built in 1931, the property, referred to as “Château Petit Douy,” was designed to resemble the Priory in Saint Julian, France and reflects the period revival style of architecture common during the first half of the twentieth century. Located in what was then known as the Millionaires’ Row neighborhood, the home remains as one of the few historic mansions left on Brickell Avenue. The property gained its historic designation status in 1983. The property was acquired by Ytech, led by Yamal Yidios, in 2023 before undergoing a recently completed renovation and restoration.
Founded by Jeff Zalaznick, Mario Carbone, and Rich Torrisi, MFG has made a substantial commitment to South Florida over the last three years, moving their headquarters to the area and building an array of businesses that have enriched several neighborhoods and created more than 700 jobs to date. In the span of a decade, MFG has grown into one of the most acclaimed hospitality groups in the world. They have pioneered a celebratory style of dining at such iconic restaurants as CARBONE and The Grill, forged groundbreaking partnerships with leading designers and luxury brands, and opened The Ludlow Hotel in Manhattan and The Newbury Boston.
Since 2020, the company has expanded into several markets, from South Florida to Paris, while exploring new ventures like the private membership venue ZZ’s Club in Miami and The Crown Club at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. In addition to building renowned restaurants, MFG is proud of its support of various social causes and its lasting partnership with the Robin Hood Foundation, one of New York City’s most important forces in the fight against poverty. To date, MFG has been awarded a total of 18 stars from The New York Times and three from the Michelin Guide. MFG’s businesses are located in New York City, Miami, Boston, Las Vegas, Hong Kong, Paris, and Tel Aviv. The concepts include CARBONE, Sadelle’s, The Grill, ZZ’s Club, Dirty French, Parm, Contessa, and The Lobster Club. In September 2023 Boucher Brothers and Major Food Group were named by voters as the new stewards of one of the most stunning and historic beachfront properties on the globe, 1 Ocean Drive. Their vision for the address, designed by Kobi Karp, will come to life in 2026 at the site that has been operated as Nikki Beach since 1985.
Panther National Opens Bringing First New Private Golf In Two Decades To Palm Beach County
Panther National, the first new private golf club to open in Palm Beach County in two decades, officially opened its golf course on November 17, designed by legend Jack Nicklaus and PGA TOUR star Justin Thomas, a first-time collaboration for the pair. Envisioned by Swiss developer, Dominik Senn, the highly anticipated club brings a luxury residential enclave and championship golf to South Florida.
The 18-hole championship course, playable from up to 8,000 yards, boasts steep elevation changes and dramatic characteristics unlike any other course in the state. The golf course accompanies Panther National’s Signature Estate Homes and Custom Estate Homesites, delivering an elite, best-in-class experience to members and residents.
Panther National celebrated the course opening with a Pro Exhibition Match on November 17 featuring six stars on the PGA and LPGA Tours including Justin Thomas – a partner of Panther National – Rickie Fowler, Xander Schauffele, Morgan Hoffmann, Erik van Rooyen, and Lexi Thompson. In tandem with the opening, Panther National will soon announce an elite team of brand ambassadors for the golf club, in addition to Thomas, Schauffele, Hoffmann, Villegas, and Thompson. As ambassadors for Panther National, these players will engage with members through a variety of events and activations year-round to showcase this exceptional new private golf community in Palm Beach Gardens.
“Panther National sits on the last parcel of premium, developable land in Palm Beach County, where we are proud to offer a visually stunning and environmentally sensitive golf course as the cornerstone of our modern, lifestyle community redefining luxury in the region,” says founder and president, Dominik Senn. “The opportunity to bring an unprecedented level of elegance to the game in an area where private golf options have been underserved for years is something in which we take great pride, and we look forward to providing current and prospective owners and members a distinctive experience both on and off the links.”
Combining the best of Nicklaus’s traditional design approach with the modern perspective of Thomas, one of the most talented young players in the world, Panther National’s championship course introduces an unparalleled new golf experience to the region. The intricacies of the course will challenge the world’s best players through a variety of risk-reward shot options yet allow playability for members with large landing areas and receptive greens. Design components include double fairways, deep bunkers, and expansive sandy waste areas; downhill tee shots uncommon to South Florida; uphill and semi-blind approach shots. A detailed, 18-hole course description can be found here.
“From the start, the vision was clear – to create a golf experience unlike any other found in South Florida,” said 18-time major champion and course designer, Jack Nicklaus. “Every opportunity to design a golf course brings challenges, but in the case of Panther National, uniqueness triumphs. You won’t find any golf course remotely close to it in South Florida.”
The collaboration between Nicklaus and Thomas represents the first time the two have teamed up on a golf course project and Thomas’ first foray into golf course architecture.
The course at Panther National will be complemented by world class training facilities featuring state-of-the-art ball tracing technology, elite PGA professionals to provide tailored instruction, an indoor simulator, putting room, and high-end fitness training equipment. Flexible enough to accommodate golf’s top professionals and club members, its practice area offers target greens constructed with Trinity Zoysia grass so the ball will react the same as when landing on the championship course’s greens. The targets are sized appropriately for shot length, equal to a PGA TOUR average shot for the specific distance. The short game area is also incredibly unique allowing golfers to train for all the greenside shots found at Panther National or at any course in the world. In addition, members can take advantage of Panther National’s fitting facility with custom fitting, stocked premium clubs, and shafts from all major equipment manufacturers.
Golfers of all skill levels will enjoy playing on the community’s 9-hole, par-3 practice course plus a short game area. Holes vary from 90 to 200 yards with approach shots similar to those players will encounter on the championship course and an island green that resembles the famous 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass. Gucci is expanding its presence in the United States with the opening of a new, dedicated men’s boutique in Miami. Situated in the Miami Design District, the space spans over 4,200 square feet across two floors and includes an inviting private VIP shopping area. This marks Gucci’s fourth dedicated men’s boutique in the U.S. and the second Gucci boutique in Miami’s Design District, with its neighboring store just around the corner.
The boutique carries an expanded offering of men’s products including shoes, ready-to-wear, luggage, small leather goods, and eyewear. Customers will discover the House’s signature travel offering, Gucci Valigeria, as well as lines presented alongside the Cruise collection.
Guests are warmly welcomed by the building’s green and white façade, distinguished by a mono-hued motif which elegantly frames the House’s logo. The design of the interiors is equally refined and reference details from the House’s collections, as the dual-colored marble flooring echoes the façade through its discreet palette and geometric shapes. Soft rich fabrics in lighter tones adorn the walls, harmoniously complementing the ivory boiserie, which acts as a delicate backdrop to the items on display. The use of clean lines and an understated palette adds to the environment’s polished and subtle charm.
Envisioned to make guests feel at home, the store is framed with built-in displays reminiscent of walk-in closets while newly designed racks with an art-deco mesh metal pattern gracefully accommodate diverse product categories. Gucci Décor velvet armchairs and leather sofas are combined with shaggy moss-green, wool monochrome rugs and placed throughout to create intimate corners. The aesthetic dialogue between elements drawn from different places and eras speaks to the House’s core narrative, resulting in a space that is sophisticated and surprising at the same time.
As part of Gucci’s commitment to implement and enhance eco-friendly initiatives and energy- efficient technologies in the House’s stores worldwide, the new boutique is designed using LEED guidelines and principles to monitor and promote energy efficiency.
Mast Capital and BH Group have announced Raffles Residences Coconut Grove, the brand’s first standalone residential development, with 35 homes from $4.5 million and architecture by Brandon Haw.
