Terra Completes Doral Atrium Lifestyle-Driven Retail Development in Doral
Terra, one of South Florida’s most active commercial and residential development firms, has completed construction of Doral Atrium, a 78,000 square foot lifestyle-driven retail development in Miami’s burgeoning City of Doral. News of Doral Atrium’s completion accompanies the signing of a 1,480 square foot new-to-market lease with TREMBLE Pilates Studio at the development.
With 65% of its retail space already leased, Doral Atrium is home to a tenant roster that includes PNC Bank; Korean fried chicken restaurant Bonchon Chicken; UMARA, an Argentinean-based nail salon and cosmetic franchise brand; Japanese and sushi restaurant Sushi Mas; and national franchise The Good Feet Store. Approximately 28,000 square feet of retail space remains available for lease.
TREMBLE’s newest Doral location will mark the national chain’s eighth South Florida outpost – and eleventh national outpost – with studios now open in Miami Beach, Brickell, Aventura, Coconut Grove, Midtown, South Miami, and Coral Gables, along with studios across the country in Soho and Bridgehampton in New York, Reno in Nevada, and Lafayette in Louisiana.
Situated at the northwest corner of Doral Boulevard and 79th Avenue, Doral Atrium is a lifestyle-driven retail destination that caters to the neighborhood’s growing population and diverse workforce. Spanning 5.2-acres, the property sits adjacent to a 350-unit multifamily rental community developed by real estate development firm Trammel Crow.
“Doral has experienced a transformation over the last decade and has quickly become one of the most desirable suburban neighborhoods in Miami for retail businesses and residents alike,” said David Martin, CEO of Terra. “Doral Atrium is an exciting new addition to the community, with tenants like TREMBLE catering to the everyday needs of surrounding residents.”
Doral Atrium is located within close proximity to thousands of residential apartment units and single-family homes, as well as two major shopping, dining and entertainment destinations City Place Doral and Downtown Doral.
Doral’s strategic location, diverse economy, low taxes, and quality of life are driving the growth and prosperity of the City. According to the 2020 U.S. Census, Doral is one of the fastest growing cities in the State of Florida with the City of Doral Planning and Zoning Department reporting over two million square feet in approved commercial developments. With a population growth rate exceeding 77% in the past eight years, Doral’s diverse residential base combined with its central location attracts a booming commercial sector comprised of Fortune 100 corporations, multinational companies and Mom & Pop shops.
Doral Atrium’s design, led by RSP Architects, is defined by three distinct volumes that creatively conceal vertical circulation nodes into rooftop parking. Each node is designed as a glowing, light-filled atrium, creating visual interest and rhythm along the street. Each of the atriums boast local artworks and lush landscaping building upon its distinctive urban character.
“Our goal with the design of Doral Atrium was to choreograph a more pedestrian-focused streetscape,” said Traci Golownia, AIA, Principal of RSP Architects. “We took a more urban approach rather than relying on the usual strip-center model that pushes the retail behind the surface parking. By elevating the parking to the roof and bringing the retail forward, we maintain the convenience but treat the storefronts as a community amenity – a street for strolling, outdoor dining, and window shopping.”
Terra’s investment in Doral has made a significant contribution to the City’s development. High-profile projects that the firm has completed over the years include the 140,000-square-foot Doral Commons retail center, and the adjacent 319-home Modern Doral complex. Nearby, Terra recently completed another grocery-anchored retail development called Doral Square.

Louis Vuitton is set to unveil their new store in Coral Gables at the Shops at Merrick Park, reinforcing Louis Vuitton’s commitment to craftsmanship, savoir-faire and innovative design. The spacious location offers a suite of the Maison’s métiers, including men’s and women’s leather goods, accessories, connected objects, ready-to-wear, shoes, watches and jewelry, as well as selections from the most exclusive categories like the Maison’s iconic hardsided pieces.
Designed to resonate with its verdant and elegant surroundings, Louis Vuitton at Coral Gables features an expansive façade with macrame-inspired sliding panels. The organic technique is retained in the remarkably light and airy metalwork, which is woven into the Maison’s signature Monogram Flower emblem, the first time this design has been used stateside. Inside, a harmonious blend of wood, natural fibers, and refined decorative elements contributes to the resort aesthetic. An exceptional terrazzo floor features a unique pattern, specially made for this space.
The interior lounge is designed in an ode to the seminal Louis Vuitton Objets Nomades Diamond Screen by Marcel Wanders Studio, with the walls and ceilings fully swathed in the distinctive interlaced motif and subtly illuminated. Fine art is a focus throughout the store, with highlights including a commissioned 12ft custom surfboard fabricated by Joshua Martin, a second-generation creator of traditional handcrafted fine surfboards based in Los Angeles. Further oceanic references come from Hawaiian artist Taylor Binda’s giclee titled Lemonade, which adds a tropical accent to the location. Extraordinary furniture throughout the space includes notable wooden pieces by New York-based designer Andrianna Shamaris created within her studio in Sumatra, as well as accents from Iranian-French architect and designer India Mahdavi.
The Coral Gables store will feature both seasonal collections and signature Louis Vuitton pieces, carefully curated to reflect the local lifestyle. Exquisite fine diamond jewelry from the Blossom Silhouette and LV Volt collections will be on offer, as well as Tambour Horizon Light Up watches, the world's most creative connected watch. With a uniquely disruptive design, the watch sports a sapphire glass face adorned by 24 LED lights, creating a mesmerizing glow-in-the-dark animation. In the recherche hardsided category, special pieces such as a Coffret Trésor that has been recently reinterpreted with bold “Bleu Lagon” lining are available, alongside stately classics such as a Monogram eight-watch carrying case, the Coffret 8 Montres.
Ready-to-wear and shoes for both men and women are a key focus of the location, as well as extraordinary leather goods: in the Women’s universe, the Coral gables store will offer the Orsay, a new handbag shape inspired by classic French style that premiered on the FW23 runway. The Orsay features a subtle set of Louis Vuitton signatures, with its semi-rigid construction enhanced by the iconic N-Lock and side metallic brackets recalling the House’s historical trunks. Also as seen on the FW23 runway, the Petite Malle is reimagined in two new shapes: the Petite Malle Capitale and Vanity Case. In the Men’s universe, a mini soft trunk made from Metallic Nebula coated canvas - a traditional Monogram canvas with a silver halo surrounded by delicate rings of blue and purple at the top of the bag - contrasts with the subtle elegance of the supple Soft Polochon, a modern cross body bag fashioned from calfskin leather with the new Epi XL pattern.
Since 1854, Louis Vuitton has brought unique designs to the world, combining innovation with style, always aiming for the finest quality. Today, the Maison remains faithful to the spirit of its founder, Louis Vuitton, who invented a genuine “Art of Travel” through luggage, bags and accessories which were as creative as they were elegant and practical. Since then, audacity has shaped the story of Louis Vuitton. Faithful to its heritage, Louis Vuitton has opened its doors to architects, artists and designers across the years, all the while developing disciplines such as ready-to-wear, shoes, accessories, watches, jewelry and fragrance. These carefully created products are testament to Louis Vuitton’s commitment to fine craftsmanship.
The new Louis Vuitton Coral Gables store is located at 358 San Lorenzo Ave., Coral Gables, FL at the Shops at Merrick Park.

MOIC’s new 14,000+-square-foot permanent location at Miami Worldcenter will be designed by the MOIC in-house team, along with the use of AI technology, bringing the same sense of child-like joy and wonderment experienced at MOIC’s previous highly successful pop-ups.
The multi-platform, immersive experience will span two floors transporting guests into a world of surprise and delight, fostering human connection through the shared love of ice cream. It will feature 10 unique, interactive installations inspired by the energy and vibrancy of Miami, including the Cream Liner, a luxury airliner experience inspired by the 60s and 70s; Mary-E’s Diner, a retro-futurism inspired hub and gathering place for ice cream-themed drinks and food; and The Hall of Freezers, an exploratory space filled with dozens of mysterious refrigerator doors that are sure to peak curiosity; and of course, MOIC’s iconic sprinkle pool. A feast for all the senses, guests will enjoy unlimited sweet treats from five stations during a 60-90 minute journey, led by talented #TeamMOIC performers.
“We’re thrilled to have a permanent home for Museum of Ice Cream in Miami,” said Museum of Ice Cream Co-Founder and CEO, Maryellis Bunn. “Miami is a vibrant city known for its culture, love of fun, and artistic creativity. We’re excited to join the city’s growing Downtown, surrounded by popular destinations like the Wynwood Arts District, the Design District, and the Brickell Financial District. It is such a natural fit for us as we continue to grow and expand, and we can’t wait to share our playful and interactive exhibits with the local community and visitors from around the world.”
Miami Worldcenter is a new $6 billion mixed-use destination in Downtown Miami. The 27-acre development spans ten city blocks with a diverse mix of residential, commercial, and hospitality uses complemented by an array of retail, restaurant, and entertainment options.
“Such a fun and unique concept like Museum of Ice Cream will without a doubt be a treat for Downtown Miami locals and visitors alike,” said Nitin Motwani, Managing Partner of Miami Worldcenter Associates. “The Museum will not only enhance the city’s status as a global arts and culture destination but will also be a wonderful complement to Miami Worldcenter’s various entertainment options. We are thrilled to become the home of Museum of Ice Cream’s first permanent Miami location.”
“Museum of Ice Cream has set a new standard for creative experiences at a time when people are drawn to places where they can find innovative and memorable activities,” said Shaul Kuba, Co-Founder and Principal, CIM Group, partner in Miami Worldcenter and leader of CIM’s leasing platform. “Through our work with Museum of Ice Cream at other locations, we have seen first-hand the allure of the Museum and its contagious positive energy.”
Slated to open in early 2024, MOIC will debut at Miami Worldcenter at 851 NE 1st Avenue (Unit #134) along the development’s pedestrian promenade between 1st and 2nd Avenues.
