New York-based restaurant Philippe by Philippe Chow has signed a 15 year lease to occupy the coveted restaurant space at One Ocean South Beach which was acquired by Robert Rivani’s Black Lion Investment Group in November 2022. With plans to open the flagship outpost in Q2 2024, Abraham Merchant and Richard Cohn are bringing the brand's legacy of sophisticated Beijing-inspired dining to Black Lion’s entire ground floor space at One Ocean in the heart of the South of Fifth neighborhood.
“Landing a legendary restaurant brand with an incredible following is in step with Black Lion’s vision to curate an epicenter for elevated dining and nightlife experiences,” said Robert Rivani. “Philippe by Philippe Chow will deliver a culinary cornerstone unique to the neighborhood and is the perfect fit for its future.”
Philippe by Philippe Chow will occupy 13,500+ square-feet on the corner of South Pointe and Ocean Drive. Attached to multi-million dollar residential condos, the space interiors span 10,000-square-feet with 3,500-square-feet of exteriors. An iconic restaurant for almost two decades, Philippe Chow’s first, and now flagship, location opened in Uptown Manhattan in 2005. Since then, the restaurant remained an undisputed favorite among New York City’s power crowd—including athletes, musicians and film stars—who crave Chef Chow’s interpretation on traditional Chinese cuisine.
Known for his modern, flavorful, and theatrical style, Chef Philippe Chow—the brand’s visionary and namesake—is world-renowned for his lavish, Beijing-style dishes and pioneered the way for fine-dining Chinese cuisine in the U.S.
“The expansion of Philippe Chow to such an iconic location in this taste-making gateway city is a key milestone for the brand both here in the United States and overseas,” says Abraham Merchant, president and CEO of Philippe Chow.
This will be Philippe by Philippe Chow’s southern flagship in the United States, following its Washington DC Wharf outpost opening in April of 2023, along with a downtown Nashville location targeted for a 2024 Q1 opening. In addition to the US expansion, the Middle East expansion continues, in addition to a multi-unit agreement in KSA, a new agreement in Kuwait City has been signed, and discussions are proceeding in Egypt and Dubai.
With nearly two decades of storied history, the Chinese eatery is a carefully crafted offering where substance drives notoriety. Meticulously designed signature dishes are infused with the flavor of Chow’s upbringing and made with the freshest ingredients, including the legendary Peking Duck, carved tableside for an unparalleled experience.
Black Lion was represented by Fabio Faerman and Sebastian Faerman with FA Commercial, while Philippe Chow was represented by Jeremy Modest and Ryan Tucker of RIPCO Real Estate.
“We were thrilled to work with Phillipe Chow to support the company’s expansion to South Florida. The Miami market continues to showcase strength and remains an attractive location for world class operators,” said Jeremy Modest, Executive Managing Director at RIPCO Real Estate. Our goal at RIPCO Florida is to help guide the best tenants New York City has to offer down to Florida by focusing on finding excellent locations and the right Landlord’s to partner with which was demonstrated in our work with Philippe Chow.
Specializing in ownership of flagship restaurant properties, Rivani’s vision for Black Lion’s transformative “Restaurant Row” along South Pointe Drive is now complete, with Philippe by Philippe Chow anchoring One Ocean South Beach, Catch Miami Beach opening at the Continuum high-rise this fall, and Marea Condominium’s multi-restaurant space reaching 100% occupancy with Kosushi Miami, a Brazilian-based Michelin Star restaurant; RED, a locals-favorite steakhouse; and a soon-to-be-announced, world-renowned tenant.
Since 2022, Black Lion has secured over $100 million in acquisitions across South Florida with a rapidly expanding portfolio of restaurant/hospitality properties from Miami Beach to Wynwood, Brickell and Downtown – including the space for Gekko by David Grutman x Bad Bunny; Amara at Paraiso with chef Michael Schwartz; Wynwood Jungle with a newly opened Fable rooftop restaurant; the ground floor of Zaha Hadid’s iconic One Thousand Museum; and Delilah at Brickell Bay boardwalk.

JMH Development, a full-service development firm, has launched sales for Twenty-Nine Indian Creek, a landmark residential project redefining luxury living in one of Miami Beach’s most sought-after neighborhoods. Set to rise at the nexus of Indian Creek Drive and Collins Avenue in the heart of the thriving Faena District, the boutique collection of only 11 private residences are meticulously crafted to deliver a bespoke lifestyle with striking views of Downtown Miami and Biscayne Bay.
“We always strive to create projects that enrich the neighborhoods in which we build,” said Jason Halpern, Principal of JMH Development. “The design, ingenuity and attention to detail that is being poured into every aspect of Twenty-Nine Indian Creek is exceptional. We are excited to be part of another project that celebrates historic preservation.”
With architecture, interiors and landscaping imagined by renowned firm Urban Robot, Twenty-Nine Indian Creek will reflect timeless sophistication and serve as an emblem for historic preservation. The modern, seven-story building will offer eight three-bedroom residences and one sprawling full-floor penthouse with an expansive wraparound terrace and panoramic views. In addition, the site is home to a 1930s Art Deco building that has been obstructed from public view for nearly 60 years. JMH Development will restore and relocate the structure to harmoniously integrate the past with the present, creating two sprawling townhomes within that will pay homage to the inherent design qualities of its former era.
“The building mirrors the duality of the architectural languages spoken on Indian Creek Drive and Collins Avenue, blending early 20th century style with modern influences,” said Sebastian Velez, Principal at Urban Robot Associates. “We envisioned a layered juxtaposition of traditional and modern that is responsive to Twenty-Nine Indian Creek’s incredible setting, and resulted in an urban refuge with enduring design qualities.”
Spanning 1,750 to 4,800-square-feet, each elegantly appointed residence is designed to maximize space and seamlessly connect to the outdoors–with sweeping floor-to-ceiling windows and doors ushering in an abundance of natural light. Spacious terraces with iconic, undulated railings showcase exquisite craftsmanship that continues indoors - with interiors that feature diligent attention to detail. Gourmet chefs' kitchens showcase bone white lacquered custom cabinetry, fully integrated Miele appliances with wine storage, plus marble countertops and island. Spa-inspired bathrooms offer indulgent features including freestanding soaking tubs, dual vanities, honed flooring and premium Hansgrohe fixtures. Townhomes feature 18-foot double-height great rooms and private terraces with landscaped gardens and summer kitchen.
“This is a truly distinctive project, there is nothing else like it in the area,” said Daniel de la Vega, president of ONE Sotheby’s International Realty. “Twenty-Nine Indian Creek presents a rare opportunity to own a home of this caliber just steps from the beach, with the ideal combination of privacy and access.”
Residents of this intimate community will enjoy a palm-tree shaded pool deck inclusive of daybed lounge chairs and tanning areas, a summer kitchen with barbeque and dining area, and an outdoor shower, as well as direct access to a dedicated beach club. The building’s Art Deco-inspired, geometrical design is complemented by lush landscaping with terraced walls and cascading greenery, water features, and a natural color palette, creating an instant sense of serenity.
Situated in the Faena District, Twenty-Nine Indian Creek will be at the center of the city’s buzziest neighborhood, allowing residents to conveniently explore world-class dining, hospitality and cultural institutions including the Faena Hotel and Faena Forum, The Miami Beach Edition, the upcoming Aman Miami Beach and Bvlgari Hotel.
Set to break ground Spring 2023, with completion expected by Q1 2025, with prices ranging from $2.5 million to $10 million. Located at 2901 Indian Creek, Miami Beach, Twenty-Nine Indian Creek sales and marketing is managed exclusively by ONE Sotheby’s International Realty’s Development Division, with Reid Heidenry and Marko Gojanovic leading sales.

For decades the Shore Club hotel has been an iconic presence on Miami Beach, a three-acre playground in the sand known all over the world. Now the Shore Club’s exciting future as a centerpiece of South Beach for the next century takes a major step forward with the launch of the Shore Club Private Collection, 49 residences designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects.
Stern Architects including a new 200-foot-tall oceanfront tower from the legendary architect that is his nautical-inspired spin on the area’s iconic MiMo (Miami Modern) architecture. Residences at Shore Club Private Collection start at approximately $6 million and are exclusively marketed by Douglas Elliman Development Marketing.
The historic Shore Club was originally designed by Albert Anis and completed in 1949 along Miami Beach’s famed Collins Avenue. The Shore Club is being redeveloped by Witkoff and Monroe Capital, who are preserving and reinventing the property as a boutique 5-star resort by Auberge Resorts Collection known as Shore Club. Shore Club is designed by Bryan O’Sullivan Studio and will offer 75 suites.
The Shore Club Private Collection residences, serviced by Auberge but offering privacy and seclusion within the 5-star resort, offers resort style amenities including a pool and gardens exclusive to residents.
The Shore Club Private Collection is RAMSA’s first ever oceanfront project and first residential project on Miami Beach after the firm completed the Miami Beach Library in 2005. Like Stern’s history-making and record-breaking designs in New York at 15 Central Park West and 220 Central Park South, the residences are divided between a more boutique low-rise building with expansive floor-plans, and a connected views-focused tower.
At Shore Club, The Cromwell, an Art Deco building completed in 1939 that was later combined with the Shore Club’s campus, is being preserved and transformed into a glamorous yet discreet private entrance for residents that will also house four duplex residences on its upper floors. The 18-story rounded tower, inspired by the ocean’s waves and filled with nautical and yachting references, creates an iconic silhouette on the Miami Beach skyline and is composed of three staggered tiers that yield vast undulating terraces, with no two floor-plans exactly alike. RAMSA collaborated with Miami-based Kobi Karp Architecture & Interior Design on the project.
Interior spaces reference materials and shapes of classic yachts, including rich woods like mahogany and oak; nickel, brass accents, and other light metalwork; swooping walls and arched windows. Large glass walls framing the dramatic ocean views will blur the line between indoor and outdoor living, seamlessly opening from the large rooms to the oversize terraces.
Completely unique to the Shore Club Private Collection is one signature 6,000-square-foot single-family beach house, also newly constructed and designed by RAMSA. This extremely rare new beachfront house on the sands of Miami Beach will enjoy all the services and amenities of the Shore Club Private Collection and Auberge.
In addition to the discreet porte-cochere entrance and exclusive pool, residents also enjoy a private world-class fitness center, library, lounge, and other amenities. Auberge Resorts Collection’s one-of-a-kind reputation for intimate tailored service will also extend to the residences with numerous in-home offerings, as well as access to Auberge’s world-class spa, beach club and culinary experiences, including a signature restaurant, poolside café and bar with dedicated cabana service, double-height café and bar leading to an outdoor lounge, and more. Lush botanical gardens with native plantings designed by Island Planning Corporation knit together the two historic buildings and new elements into one cohesive resort, while dividing private amenities from those open to resort guests.

Terra and Turnberry Tap Balfour Beatty As GP For Grand Hyatt Miami Beach Convention Center Hotel
Two of South Florida’s premier real estate developments groups, Terra and Turnberry, have selected Balfour Beatty as the general contractor for the new Grand Hyatt Miami Beach Convention Center Hotel. Located at the intersection of 17th Street and Convention Center Drive, the 17-story, 800-room hotel will serve as the central anchor of the Miami Beach Convention Center District
Two of South Florida’s premier real estate developments groups, Terra and Turnberry, have selected Balfour Beatty as the general contractor for the new Grand Hyatt Miami Beach Convention Center Hotel. Located at the intersection of 17th Street and Convention Center Drive, the 17-story, 800-room hotel will serve as the central anchor of the Miami Beach Convention Center District, steps away from the beachfront, hundreds of shops and restaurants along Lincoln Road, the New World Center, the Bass Museum, and the Fillmore Miami Beach. Early site work at the property is now underway, with vertical construction anticipated to start this year and be completed in 2025.
“A project of this magnitude and significance requires the best in-class team and we are thrilled to have Balfour Beatty onboard leading the construction efforts,” said developer David Martin, CEO of Terra, and Jackie Soffer, Chairman and CEO of Turnberry. “The firm’s extensive experience pioneering new technologies and transforming communities through smart infrastructure aligns with our goal to deliver a hotel that will transform the City’s convention center campus into one of the most desirable meeting and convention destinations in the world.”
Headquartered in Dallas with full-service offices throughout the U.S., Balfour Beatty is a leading commercial construction company with a portfolio of high-profile projects including terminal expansion projects at Jacksonville International Airport, Florida International University Student Academic Success Center, the W hotel in Fort Lauderdale, Loews Sapphire Falls Resort at Universal Orlando, Paseo de la Riviera in Coral Gables, and Greater Fort Lauderdale Broward County Convention Center among others.
“This is a beacon development for Miami Beach,” commented Scott Skidelsky, Balfour Beatty president in the Southeast. “Balfour Beatty’s national operations started its roots in South Florida and being a part of the community is a point of pride for our company. Being chosen to construct this icon project means the world to our project team who are some of the best builders in the industry and they are all so excited to work with our stakeholders to make this an incredibly successful build experience.”
Development of the Grand Hyatt comes as Miami Beach and South Florida solidify their position among the world’s most visited destinations. According to a recent report by the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, 15.9 million overnight visitors and an additional 8.3-million-day visitors totaling 24.2 million came to the area in 2021, matching the total volume of tourists seen pre-pandemic in 2019. Furthermore, visitor spending rebounded, and tourists spent an estimated $19.2 billion, an increase of 8% over 2019. In 2022, Miami-Dade County hotel occupancy from January through October was up 10% over the previous year, a total of 72.2% occupancy – the sixth-highest occupancy in the country in major markets – with an average daily rate of $251, which is 18.8% higher than 2021.
“The Grand Hyatt Miami Beach will be a great addition to the local hotel landscape,” said Wendy Kallergis, President & CEO of the Greater Miami and the Beaches Hotel Association. “Miami Beach has a broad range of hotel options – from luxury brands, meetings, leisure, independent and boutiques – but there has long been a need for a conference hotel that maximizes the impact of the newly-renovated Convention Center. The Grand Hyatt’s 800 rooms will meet this demand, and it comes at a time when meeting planners around the world are looking at Miami Beach for their upcoming conferences, conventions, and trade shows.”
The 17-story Grand Hyatt Miami Beach will include 12 floors of guest rooms and 52 suites offering views of Miami Beach, four floors of meeting spaces and ballrooms that will complement the Convention Center, a resort-style pool deck with panoramic views, a signature restaurant, lobby lounge and bar, and limited retail space that will activate the district at street level. An elevated skybridge will enable event attendees to move freely between the hotel and Convention Center in a climate-controlled, art-filled corridor.
Grand Hyatt Miami Beach will be designed by internationally acclaimed architect Bernardo Fort-Brescia and his firm, Miami-based Arquitectonica. The team also includes Stonehill Taylor, a New York City based hospitality-focused architecture and interior design firm in charge of designing the hotel’s interior lobby and lounges, ballroom, meeting and hotel rooms, and all common areas; EoA, a local architecture, interior design and landscape firm tasked with designing the pool deck hospitality features of the hotel; and Arquitectonica GEO, who will lead the creation of the pedestrian promenades and landscapes.
As part of the improvements to the area, the nearby Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater is also receiving renovations to its back of house areas. The theater, which is owned by the City of Miami Beach and managed by Live Nation, was once home to “The Jackie Gleason Show” and remains one of the most beloved cultural venues in Miami Beach. These renovations will ensure the iconic institution will have the ability to continue to present music, theater and dance to the expanding community of the Convention Center district.
The Grand Hyatt Miami Beach project also includes landscaped pedestrian promenades on surrounding streets, bike sharing stations, connectivity with public transit routes, dedicated ridesharing pick-up and drop-off zones, and direct access between the Convention Center and Lincoln Road. The project’s resiliency and sustainability measures include storm water management and reuse, flood risk mitigation, and the use of solar power – all of which are designed to ensure operational continuity during weather events.

Specialized investment management firm Pretium plans to open an office at Deco Capital Group’s Eighteen Sunset, a Class A office building being constructed at 1769 Purdy Avenue in Miami Beach. Pretium has leased 11,591 square feet on the fourth floor of the project, which together with other completed leases represents approximately 80% of all available office space at Eighteen Sunset. About 9,500 square feet in the building is still available. The project is currently rising after securing a $60 million construction loan last year.
“Miami Beach is excited to welcome Pretium to our community where our business assistance programs and incentives ease the ability of doing business, and our culture and lifestyle benefit business leaders, create jobs, and attract and retain talent,” shared Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber.
With more than 4,500 employees, Pretium has over $50 billion in assets under management across U.S. residential real estate, residential credit and corporate credit. Pretium’s Miami Beach office will span more than half of the fourth floor in the five-story building. The company will join a multibillion-dollar, publicly traded Toronto firm that signed a 20,000 square foot lease earlier this year. On the ground floor, Uchiko, a restaurant concept by award-winning Hai Hospitality group, will occupy approximately 6,000 square feet of space. Stephen Rutchik, executive managing director of Colliers International Florida, and Neil King, vice chairman of CBRE New York, represented Deco Capital Group in the transaction, and Daniel Posy, executive managing director of JLL New York, represented Pretium.

“Miami Beach has seen a significant increase in inbound investment, and the most fundamental change to the city’s economy has been the drive to develop Class A, best-in-class office space capable of accommodating the needs of preeminent global companies,” said Bradley Colmer, founder of Deco Capital Group. “Pretium operates from exemplary offices in international financial hubs and is proud to be one of the trailblazing companies relocating or expanding and establishing a more substantial presence in South Florida. “It is really encouraging to see great companies, like Pretium and others, take advantage of Miami Beach’s programs and services,” affirmed Miami Beach City Manager Alina Hudak. “These programs were created to diversify the Miami Beach economy for the benefit of the entire community.”

Anastasia Koutsioukis and Ahmet Erkaya, the husband-wife duo behind Miami’s iconic Mandolin Aegean Bistro, have opened The Drexel in Miami Beach. Since Mandolin’s initial opening, the couple have expanded the Mandolin brand to include homeware store Mrs. Mandolin; fast-casual gyros and kebab house, Mr. Mandolin; Mandolin Taverna in Los Angeles; and The Drexel in the heart of Miami Beach.
The Drexel, a Coastal Mediterranean eatery nestled in the historic Española Way, marks the duo’s latest endeavor in Miami. Helmed at the culinary hands of Chef Nano Crespo, and his wife formerly of Quinto La Huella, and his wife Tamara Magalhaes, formerly of Mandolin Aegean Bistro, Soho House, and Thompson Hospitality; The Drexel serves elevated yet classic Mediterranean dishes. The beverage program is curated by Founding Partner Ahmet Erkaya and features extensive cocktail offerings and rare boutique wines sourced from Greece, France, Spain, and Italy.
Characterized by its understated elegance and refined Mediterranean dishes, The Drexel is a hidden gem designed to elevate Miami Beach’s dining scene. The restaurant transports guests to the Coastal European towns along the Riviera through its favorable food and inimitable atmosphere. Drawing inspiration from old world cooking techniques to ideate fresh, innovative recipes, The Drexel’s culinary offerings and vision are influenced by the couples’ travels throughout Southern Europe and Chef Crespo’s expertise on the grill and Mediterranean cooking. Offering clean, light and bright flavors from the charcoal grill and wood oven, the menu also includes housemade pasta and pizza with a heavy emphasis on locally sourced seafood and an entire section dedicated to vegetable-forward dishes.
The Drexel is found on the corner of the first floor of Casa Matanza at the Esmé Hotel. Originally built in the 1920s, the historically designated building features a Mediterranean Revival architectural style. The building itself along with Española Way’s storied past is what attracted The Drexel’s Co-Founder and designer, Anastasia Koutsioukis to the project. Koutsioukis has an instinct and passion for preserving the history and cultural significance of an area, as well as identifying architecturally significant properties and transforming them into fixtures in Miami’s culinary landscape, as she did when designing Mandolin Aegean Bistro. Koutsioukis creates warm and understated environments that feel like they have been there for years in an effortless design style that’s distinctive to her projects. Koutsioukis was inspired by the natural and neutral palette that’s found throughout European coastal towns. The Drexel’s minimalist decor is characterized by earthy hand plastered walls, a bleached oak bar and stunning wall unit displaying antique ceramic vessels that have been collected during Koutsioukis’ travels. The calming space is punctuated with pops of light green marble on the bar and sage banquettes. The original arched windows set the tone for the arches throughout the space. The lighting and furniture is a mixture of French mid century pendants and linen upholstered chairs, along with plenty of rattan seating and raffia sconces lending to its Coastal Mediterranean feel. Additional personal touches include an art wall installation from the Owner’s collection, and plenty of natural palms, flowers and fruit bowls
The Drexel is open for dinner Monday thru Friday 6pm - 11pm; Saturday 5 pm - 11 pm; Sunday 5 pm - 10 pm. The Drexel also has a Sundowner Happy Hour daily at the bar from 5:30 pm - 7 pm and Brunch on Saturday's and Sunday's 11am - 4 pm.

Sumaida + Khurana and Bizzi & Partners, two internationally recognized real estate development firms, will begin leasing and start construction in the coming months for their new Class A+ office building designed by renowned Spanish master architect Alberto Campo Baeza named THE FIFTH MIAMI BEACH. This will be the first commercial building in the United States and first building in Miami designed by Baeza, who won Spain’s National Prize for Architecture last year. It will also be the first new commercial building to be built in Miami’s South of Fifth neighborhood in more than 15 years. This summer, less than one year after acquiring the site, Sumaida + Khurana and Bizzi & Partners received unanimous design approval by the Historic Preservation Board of Miami. Sumaida + Khurana is led by Founding Partners Saif Sumaida and Amit Khurana. Bizzi & Partners is led by CEO Davide Bizzi and Managing Director Alessandro Pallaoro.
The Fifth Miami Beach will redefine the modern office experience with a design that evokes poetic architecture through simplicity, beauty, and exquisite detailing. Its striking jewel box shape features a facade of precious white marble, transparent glass, and clean white concrete. Sumaida + Khurana and Bizzi & Partners decided to emphasize health and wellness throughout every aspect of the development.
The building incorporates a number of biophilic design elements which make it an elevated oasis, including massive, landscaped outdoor terraces, a majestic triple-height atrium at the building’s core and an impressive rooftop with expansive ocean and water views. It also includes an abundance of amenities including two dining venues, indoor and outdoor gyms, and a spa. With interiors designed by renowned architectural firm, Gabellini Sheppard Associates, the quality level of interior details, finishes and materials are what would be expected in a custom home.
"At The Fifth Miami Beach, we have sought to deliver a singular boutique office product that has not previously existed. By thoughtfully integrating contemporary architecture and craft, private fitness and spa amenities, expansive outdoor space and lush landscaping, curated dining options, and bespoke building services, our objective has been to think of the office building as a holistic ecosystem that supports the well-being and spatial experience of its tenants," said Amit Khurana, Founding Partner, Sumaida + Khurana.
“Alberto Campo Baeza’s architectural design features understated elegance, purity of design and subtle detailing that creates a calm, meditative ambiance that sets the tone for the rest of the building. We have assembled a stellar team to create an environment that is of the highest quality. In addition to Campo Baeza and Gabellini Sheppard Associates, award-winning firm Cube 3 serves as the executive architect and renowned firm, Miami-based Urban Robot Associates will be the project’s landscape architect,” said Alessandro Pallaoro, Managing Director, Bizzi & Partners.
Global commercial real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield will oversee office leasing efforts and is being led by Brian Gale, Ryan Holtzman and Andrew Trench. Miami Beach-based commercial retail brokerage firm, Avenue Real Estate Partners will be handling retail leasing and is led by Aaron Butler.
“The Fifth Miami Beach, which measures 60,000 square feet, will be the highest quality boutique office building ever built in the United States. We have never seen a product at this scale that offers the same architectural pedigree, custom finishes, and best-in-class amenities. It will be the perfect offering for flight to quality tenants,” said Brian Gale, Vice-Chairman, Cushman & Wakefield.
The building spans five floors and each appears to effortlessly float due to the custom steel edge details found along the concrete slabs. Office ceiling heights reach 14 feet and offer an abundant sense of light, air, and outdoor space throughout every level. Each floor includes extensive wraparound terraces created for relaxation or group gatherings, where colleagues can meet. The building includes a monumental marble lobby with 33-foot ceiling heights as well as a large atrium that runs through its core. It also incorporates multiple amenities for tenants to share including a crowning rooftop space offering unobstructed views of the ocean and Miami Beach; a state-of-the-art fitness center and spa wrapped in custom oak millwork and tundra marble; on-site dining venues providing healthy dining options; and a best-in-class dining establishment that will occupy the ground floor and mezzanine space. Two historic houses located on site will be carefully restored and incorporated into the building’s design. One will be geared towards becoming a café that will serve healthy options and another will include a private courtyard seating and a butterfly sanctuary garden.
The project has been designed to meet LEED certification standards and will feature environmentally friendly materials and construction methods, high energy efficiency, reduced water consumption, and advanced air quality and filtration systems. The building is situated at the entrance to Miami Beach from the MacArthur Causeway, in the South of Fifth neighborhood at the corner of Michigan and Fifth Street. SoFi has quickly become an exclusive enclave home to many popular restaurants, hotels, hot spots, and high-end condos.
