OKO Group, the international real estate development firm founded by investor and developer Vlad Doronin and The Bastion Collection, a global leader in fine dining and luxury hospitality with a portfolio distinguished by 10 Michelin Stars and 3 Michelin Keys since 2019, have revealed a landmark partnership atop 830 Brickell, Miami’s premier 55-story Class A office tower.

The first building of its kind to be developed in the city for over a decade, 830 Brickell is a fitting home for the collaboration between OKO and Bastion who will bring a distinctive blend of business sophistication and vibrant social energy to Miami’s culinary landscape—filling a necessary niche in the city. The debut concept from the partnership introduces Seia, a contemporary Italian restaurant and private membership club located on the highest two floors of the tower (54th and 55th), complete with an expansive open terrace and panoramic views over Miami’s bustling financial district.

The two intrinsically connected yet distinct spaces, with interiors designed by Zervudachi, Roberts and Macadam London, will launch in 2026, complemented by an exclusive all-day café available to 830 Brickell tenants. Developed by OKO Group and Cain International, the newly delivered contemporary office tower brings a prestigious commercial offering to Miami’s Brickell Financial District – often referred to as the “Wall Street of the South.” The fully-leased building’s roster of best-in-class global tenants includes Microsoft, Citadel, Kirkland & Ellis, Marsh, Sidley Austin, Corient (formerly known as CI Financial), Thoma Bravo, Santander Bank, A-CAP, among others.

A distinguished partner to bring a refined hospitality offering to the area, The Bastion Collection’s stellar reputation in Miami is underscored by two acclaimed restaurants in the Design District: L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, the city’s sole two-Michelin-starred establishment, and Le Jardinier, honored with one Michelin star.

Speaking about the collaboration, Vlad Doronin, Chairman and CEO of OKO Group, said, "With 830 Brickell, we set out to deliver an international calibre of architecture and lifestyle to the heart of Miami's financial district. Partnering with The Bastion Collection to develop Seia and Seia Club elevates that vision and introduces a new benchmark for culinary and exclusive social experiences in the city. Together, we are creating a destination that reflects Miami's global stature, bringing a new dimension of sophistication and world-class gastronomy to Brickell.’

“We’re proud to partner with premier developer OKO Group on Seia, which we know will become a crown jewel within the iconic 830 Brickell,” said Jamal Daniel, owner of The Bastion Collection. “This project is an extraordinary opportunity to bring our culinary and operational expertise to Miami’s most prestigious address, introducing concepts designed to evolve into institutions that serve Brickell’s corporate clientele by day. By night, Seia will become a destination for those seeking an elevated social experience.”

Spicy Hospitality Group Opens Celebrated Milanese Trattoria 'Le Specialità' In Miami Design District

Spicy Hospitality Group, the visionary hospitality collective at the intersection of cuisine, culture, and design—and the team behind The Joyce, with several forthcoming concepts in Miami, New York, and California—has officially opened U.S. debut of Le Specialità in the Miami Design District.

Spicy Hospitality Group, the visionary hospitality collective at the intersection of cuisine, culture, and design—and the team behind The Joyce, with several forthcoming concepts in Miami, New York, and California—has officially opened U.S. debut of Le Specialità in the Miami Design District.

A Milanese institution since 1977, Le Specialità is celebrated for its authentic Italian cooking, trattoria spirit, and iconic pizza—a local gem where honest food is elevated by grounded hospitality, exceptional ingredients, and a touch of glamour. The restaurant embodies Italian dining in its purest form: genuine, familiar, and always exciting—an experience that moves from an elegant dinner to a spirited serata, where every night feels like a gathering among friends.

Since opening on Via Pietro Calvi nearly five decades ago, Le Specialità has defined the Milanese dining experience: simple yet sophisticated, seasonal, and rooted in the finest ingredients. Guided by the Italian philosophy that food, wine, and hospitality are extensions of art and lifestyle, the restaurant captures the balance between Italian familiarity and fine-dining precision, where hospitality feels effortless and deeply human. Its Miami outpost carries this legacy forward, channeling the creative pulse of its new home to create a setting where art meets taste. Here, the neighborhood trattoria elevates the most genuine, laid-back Italian dining experience through uncompromising quality, bridging Milan’s timeless dining culture with the city’s ever-evolving energy.

“Bringing Le Specialità to the U.S. marks a major milestone for Spicy Hospitality Group. The restaurant has long been a cornerstone of Milan’s dining culture and the Miami Design District is the ideal setting for its American debut, reflecting our vision to build a collection of restaurants that embody the creativity, ambition, and energy of this city.” Said Andre Sakhai, Principal & Founder, Spicy Hospitality Group

MENU & BEVERAGE PROGRAM

At the heart of Le Specialità’s legacy is its dedication to simplicity and excellence. The restaurant’s approach to Italian cuisine emphasizes seasonality, quality, and authenticity, honoring the traditions that have defined its Milanese roots while introducing new creations inspired by Miami’s international palate.

The menu spans a refined selection of housemade pastas, seafood, and meats, complemented by the restaurant’s signature pizza offerings, a hallmark of its Milanese heritage. Known for transforming the classic pizza into a local legend—light, crisp, and precisely leavened—Le Specialità brings that same craftsmanship to Miami with selections including the Margherita, Truffle Pizza, and Piccantissimi with chili pepper pesto and pine nuts.

The secondi offerings pay homage to timeless Italian preparations with dishes such as Branzino alla Siciliana, Dover Sole Meunière, and Veal Milanese, each executed with balance and precision. The menu concludes with a selection of refined Italian desserts, including house-made gelato in pistachio, dark chocolate, nocciola, vanilla, crema italiana, and salted caramel, as well as a classic tiramisu layered with mascarpone mousse, espresso, ladyfingers, and cocoa.

The robust beverage program is anchored by a 260-label wine list rooted in Italy’s most renowned regions and complemented by select vintages from Burgundy and Bordeaux—among them 1990 Le Pin, 1986 Pétrus, and 1952 Pavie. The list features an exceptional collection of Barolo, Barbaresco, and Brunello di Montalcino dating back three decades. The program is rounded out by signature cocktails such as the Milano Mai Tai, Fragola Basilico, and Espresso Italiano, each designed to pair seamlessly with the menu.

ART & DESIGN

Central to the concept is an eclectic art collection curated by Andre Sakhai, featuring vintage Italian photography alongside works from his personal archives, including pieces by Jean-Michel Basquiat, KAWS, Rashid Johnson, Peter Saul, Joel Mesler, John Wesley, Takashi Murakami, and Richard Prince. Together, these elements create an atmosphere that captures the artistic soul of Milan and the character of its new Miami home.

“The art sets the tone for the whole space. It’s what brings personality and depth to the design. We wanted pieces that felt authentic to Milan but still made sense in Miami—something timeless, bold, and unexpected. The collection helps tell the story of two cultures that share a love for creativity, color, and expression.” Said Andre Sakhai, Principal & Founder, Spicy Hospitality Group

For its Miami debut, Spicy Hospitality Group enlisted the acclaimed architecture and design firm Rockwell Group to create a space where Milan meets Miami. Drawing from Milan’s radical design movement of the 1960s and 1970s and Miami’s colorful, celebratory culture, the interiors embrace a “radical retro chic” ethos—sophisticated yet playful, glamorous yet unpretentious.

“The design concept for Le Specialita blends the bold, playful, and artistic spirit of Milan in the 1960s and 70s with the rich, dynamic, and festive culture of present-day Miami. Sweeping curves and oversized graphic elements define each space in the restaurant.” Said David Rockwell, Founder and President, Rockwell Group.

Guests first encounter the 100-seat restaurant through a lively cluster of sidewalk seating before entering a dynamic interior defined by sweeping curves, bold geometries, and rich textures. Standout elements include:

  • A green lavastone bar set with red leather stools, backed by a glowing mirrored wine wall with champagne-nickel accents.

  • Terrazzo floors embedded with metal stripe inlay, echoing the diagonal wood beams above, nodding to Milan’s Supergraphic era.

  • A dramatic pizza oven clad in black-and-white terrazzo mosaic, framed by a wood butcher block chef’s bar that allows guests to witness the action up close.

  • Dining areas punctuated by striped leather booths inspired by vintage Ferraris, lavastone tabletops, and bold lacquered finishes.

  • Custom furnishings and fixtures sourced in collaboration with Artemest, the destination gallery for Italian design and décor

  • The powder rooms serve as whimsical “portals” between Milan and Miami, with colorful chandeliers, pink terrazzo, and pastel custom mirrors. The outdoor terrace extends the vibrant atmosphere with striped canopies, colorful upholstery, and space for casual al fresco dining.

In Miami, luxury real estate is defined not only by design, but by energy that moves through a space, the experiences waiting beyond each threshold and the connections that shape community. Embracing this philosophy, development partners Black Salmon, The Boschetti Group, and Constellation Group – in collaboration with HQ Hotels & Residences by sbe – have launched sales for HQ Residences Miami. This marks the first-ever residential tower from the iconic HQ brand led by hospitality visionary Sam Nazarian, with partners who include global entertainment legend Marc Anthony. Rooted in HQ’s DNA of “smart lifestyle,” the project transforms the masterminding of Nazarian’s hospitality expertise into a living experience that pulses with creativity, belonging, and the Miami rhythm.

Rising 35 stories at 422 NE 29th Street in the city’s Edgewater neighborhood, HQ Residences Miami was crafted for a life in balance, presenting 229 condominiums. Offering one- to three-bedroom layouts ranging from 721 to 2,074 square feet, along with a collection of 8 penthouses, the tower embodies a living, breathing environment, where wellness rituals, curated social moments, and sensory design exist in harmony. Residences are priced from $850,000, with sales represented exclusively by The Agency, one of the world's leading luxury brokerages, led by Mauricio Umansky and Santiago Arana.

As a next-gen lifestyle brand, HQ Residences globally launched in 2024 by sbe and strategic partners. Hotel properties include Antigua and upcoming destinations such as São Paulo and Miami, continuing to expand its footprint having now selected Miami for its residential debut. The brand reimagines traditional hotels and residences for a new generation, celebrating social hubs rooted in dining, nightlife, wellness, and immersive guest experiences that are infused with celebrities and influential partnerships. It is purpose-built for modern dwellers seeking approachable luxury, blending the vibrancy of boutique hospitality with the reach and reliability of a global network.

“HQ Residences in Edgewater is the moment we, quite literally, bring the spirit of our brand home for the first time.” said Nazarian. “From day one, HQ has been centered on building places that shape how people live and connect, and Miami is a city that embodies this vision, at the intersection of design, lifestyle, and global influence.”

HQ Residences Miami will introduce an exceptional lineup of lifestyle offerings and brand partnerships that embody the HQ philosophy. Spanning 15,756 square feet across two dedicated floors, the amenity program was built around four core pillars that define a new standard of contemporary living: Wellness, Entertainment, Community, and Art.

Level 34 is dedicated entirely to the first pillar of wellness and mindfulness. Designed by The Well Founder Kane Sarhan, the experience unfolds with health-oriented activities, from yoga and open-air training terraces to contrast therapy circuits with hammam, sauna, steam, plunge pools and bath-house treatments. A state-of-the-art fitness center supports both high-intensity and mindful recovery, while an AEScape treatment room and massage beds deliver next-level restoration. Outdoors, a resort-style pool deck with pergola lounges and panoramic city vistas blurs the line between residence and retreat.

One level above, entertainment and social life take center stage. A library and a dynamic collaboration space foster both teamwork and quiet focus, while a cutting-edge podcast studio provides a platform for idea sharing. Culinary and cultural moments are brought to life through a chef’s kitchen, designed for shared experiences, dining at TOMA Gourmet by Sofia Vergara and her son Manolo Vergara featuring wellness-forward Latin cuisine, and Jack’s NYC Coffee, the iconic New York roastery making its Miami arrival. As night falls, the vibe continues at Marc’s, a speakeasy curated by Marc Anthony, with skyline views, vinyl collections, and intimate performances. Residents also enjoy access to the HQ Social Club, an exclusive membership connecting them to curated experiences and VIP hospitality offerings across the city and beyond. Grounded in community and belonging, every touchpoint encourages meaningful connection, cultivating an experience defined by shared spirit and a profound sense of home.

“Partnering with HQ Residences allows us to help shape a community that is defining the future of urban living in Miami,” said Camilo Lopez, Managing Partner & Co-CEO of Black Salmon. “This project brings together a powerhouse collective of industry leaders—spanning architecture, development, hospitality, sales, and lifestyle programming—each contributing deep expertise that has elevated HQ Residences into a best-in-class offering crafted by the greatest minds in the business, where design and purpose align to create a true sense of wellness and life in balance.”

Designed by internationally acclaimed firm Arquitectonica, with interiors by award-winning studios DesignAgency and Craft, HQ Residences Miami exudes an “outside-in” philosophy, rooted in design, art and aesthetic harmony. The tower’s bold diagrid façade stands as a sculptural statement, while lush greenery by Enzo Enea climbs its terraces and amenity levels, establishing a vertical garden in motion. Inside, warmth and sophistication permeate every space, with tactile materials and subtle contrasts. Hand-selected marbles, sustainable woods, and refined textiles in soft, neutral tones create harmony between energy and stillness.

Within each residence, refined design meets livable luxury. Expansive terraces extend seamlessly from floor-to-ceiling windows, framing panoramic views of Biscayne Bay and Miami’s skyline while filling interiors with natural light. Open layouts enhance the sense of air and flow, creating spaces that feel both elevated and effortless. Kitchens balance performance and beauty with Italian cabinetry in warm wood tones, natural stone surfaces, and a full suite of integrated designer appliances. Spa-inspired primary bathrooms echo the project’s wellness philosophy with walk-in showers, floating-style dual vanities, and rich material palettes that evoke calm and restoration.

“Having represented some of the most extraordinary developments around the world, I can say with confidence that HQ Residences Miami is poised to become one of the city’s most sought-after addresses,” said Mauricio Umansky, Founder and CEO of The Agency. “This project captures the essence of Miami living - a holistic lifestyle that unites world-class dining, nightlife, and wellness within an unrivaled Edgewater location. We’re proud to lead sales for a development that’s redefining what it means to live, work, and play under one roof.”

Situated at the crossroads of Wynwood, the Design District, and Midtown, the tower’s Edgewater location is within one of Miami’s most dynamic cultural frontiers. Positioned along 29th Street—one of the neighborhood’s fastest-evolving corridors—HQ Residences Miami sits at the epicenter of rapid growth, surrounded by new luxury developments, the recently opened Whole Foods and next-generation offerings that are redefining the district’s urban fabric. Its centrality provides immediate access to Michelin-starred dining, gallery districts, and waterfront wellness destinations — while remaining less than 15 minutes from Miami International Airport, positioning it as the ideal residence for both local and international buyers. OKO Group Commences Vertical Construction at Aman Residences, Miami Beach

Following extensive below-grade piling, excavation work and construction from OKO Group and Access Industries’, Aman Residences, Miami Beach, will commence vertical construction. With the development’s foundation system now complete, general contractor Suffolk is now progressing skyward with approximately one floor set to be completed every two weeks.

Following extensive below-grade piling, excavation work and construction from OKO Group and Access Industries’, Aman Residences, Miami Beach, will commence vertical construction. With the development’s foundation system now complete, general contractor Suffolk is now progressing skyward with approximately one floor set to be completed every two weeks through top-off in early 2026. Delivery of the fully committed 18-story residential tower, designed by renowned architect Kengo Kuma, remains on track for 2027.

Located at 3425 Collins Avenue, Aman Miami Beach will blend ultra-luxury amenities and residential offerings within Miami Beach’s Faena District. The tower will feature 22 Aman-branded residences alongside the preserved historic Versailles Hotel, which will host 56 hotel rooms, designed by the acclaimed Jean-Michel Gathy of Denniston, a long-time interior and architecture collaborator with Aman.

“With the foundation of Aman Residences, Miami Beach nearing completion, we’re entering a pivotal stage in the project as the structure begins to rise visibly above grade,” said Alan Chun, Chief Operating Officer of OKO Group. “This momentum builds on Aman’s record-setting residential sell-out, with the development poised to elevate Miami Beach as a world-class destination for design, wellness, and luxury living.”

The start of vertical construction follows intensive groundwork, including the creation of a two-level underground parking structure – an engineering feat made possible through advanced Deep Soil Mixing and Triple Soil Mixing techniques. These methods stabilized the beachfront site’s soil and mitigated groundwater intrusion, enabling the installation of the building’s foundation system.

“Suffolk is honored to help bring this exceptional project to life,” said Tom Thrasher, General Manager of Suffolk’s Florida East Coast. “The prestige of the Aman brand and the design pedigree of Kengo Kuma make this one of the most exciting builds in the history of Miami Beach. We are thrilled to leverage our cutting-edge technologies, data, and AI solutions to deliver an exceptional experience and project that will exceed expectations and help redefine how iconic projects are built.”

Designed by celebrated Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, Aman Residences, Miami Beach, embraces a minimalist aesthetic that combines angular lines and soft, undulating forms. It draws on Japanese materials and motifs while respecting Miami Beach’s Art Deco heritage. Kuma’s design introduces fluid transitions between interior and exterior spaces, creating a structure that is both visually striking and harmonious with the surrounding landscape.

Master Construction Permit Issued For 70-Story Okan Tower in Downtown Miami

Okan Tower, Downtown Miami’s transformative new branded hospitality and residential development anchored by the 316-key Hilton Miami Bayfront Hotel, has reached a pivotal milestone with the issuance of its master construction permit.

Okan Tower, Downtown Miami’s transformative new branded hospitality and residential development anchored by the 316-key Hilton Miami Bayfront Hotel, has reached a pivotal milestone with the issuance of its master construction permit. The permit allows the development team to move forward with all interior and mechanical systems—including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, elevators, and life safety—marking the final step before full vertical completion and interior buildout.

Soaring to 70 stories, once completed, Okan Tower is on track to become one of the tallest buildings on Miami’s skyline at 902’. Construction of the project, led by Okan Construction LLC, has already reached the 30th floor of vertical construction, with the 50th floor expected by the end of the year. The team is currently working on the hotel mezzanine level located on the 30th floor. Just weeks away from the halfway mark, the tower is rising at a pace of approximately one floor per week. The building is projected to top off in 2026 and welcome residents and guests in 2027.

The master permit, issued by the City of Miami, is one of the most important approvals in any major construction project, consolidating all key trades into one comprehensive authorization, enabling work to advance across every level of the tower simultaneously. For developer Okan Group, this milestone signals accelerated momentum toward delivering one of Miami’s most ambitious and dynamic new buildings.

“With this permit in hand, we now have the green light to complete every element of the building,” said Bekir Okan, Chairman of Okan Group. “It’s a defining step that moves us from structure to experience—bringing to life the Hilton hotel, luxury residences, office space, and amenities that will make Okan Tower a destination in itself.”

The Hilton Miami Bayfront Hotel, which spans floors 14 through 30, is now structurally completed and is being built to a five-star standard. With Miami posting record hotel occupancy in 2024 and visitor demand continuing to surge, the Hilton Miami Bayfront is a much-needed addition to the city’s hospitality offerings—especially in the fast-growing Downtown Miami area.

Beyond hospitality, Okan Tower will include 236 condo-hotel units managed by Hilton Hotels & Resorts®, 163 luxury Sky Residences, nearly 68,000 square feet of Class A office space, and more than 80,000 square feet of amenities. All amenity spaces—excluding the highly anticipated rooftop pool—have already been completed to date.

Strategically located at 555 North Miami Avenue, Okan Tower places residents and visitors at the nexus of culture, entertainment, and commerce. The tulip-inspired tower, designed by Behar Font & Partners, pays homage to the developer’s Turkish heritage and represents a bold architectural statement in one of America’s most dynamic cities.

Exclusively marketed and sold by Fortune Development Sales, Okan Tower’s sales gallery is located at 542 North Miami Avenue.

Poised between the cosmopolitan grace of Miami and the natural beauty of the Atlantic, The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami, is embarking on a new chapter. Nearly 25 years since Gencom co-developed the asset, the iconic resort has begun a transformational improvement plan totaling over $100 million, ushering in a new era of coastal luxury. Following completion of the planned improvements, the property is slated to reopen its doors in December 2025.

Located at 455 Grand Bay Drive, the 275,000-square-foot resort spans 17 acres on the barrier island of Key Biscayne. Rising 13 stories above the shoreline, the 420-key hotel features 600 feet of pristine beach access. Since its debut in 2001, the resort has become a premier destination in Miami’s luxury hospitality landscape. The upcoming transformation marks the first comprehensive renovation of this iconic property since its inception.

Spearheaded by design architect Hart Howerton, with public spaces envisioned by Design Agency and guestrooms redesigned by Chapi Chapo Design, the renovation’s vision is deeply rooted in the resort’s island identity while elevating its refined sense of place. Each space will harmonize with the surrounding coastal landscape, incorporating soft natural tones, lush greenery, and textures that evoke the sand and seas.

“With this transformative renovation, we are honoring the property’s legacy and doubling down on our 25-year commitment to the Key Biscayne community,” said Karim Alibhai, Founder and Principal of Gencom. “These enhancements will allow the property to remain competitive in the region’s increasingly sophisticated hospitality landscape, while further elevating Key Biscayne as a premier destination.”

As a visual cue for what is to come, the resort's exterior will be introduced with a fresh, modern color palette that will reflect the surrounding sand and sea. Inside, the lobby will undergo a complete transformation, anchored by a new East-facing glass façade that will seamlessly merge the exterior’s coastal landscape with layered natural textures and warm interior tones. The newly redesigned arrival experience will embrace the island’s tropical elegance, evoking a sense of calm and wonder.

The Spa at The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami, will also undergo a complete redesign to reflect the serenity of its surroundings. Drawing inspiration from the island’s native elements, mangroves, limestone, and the ocean, it will reemerge as a sanctuary for rejuvenation and renewal.

The culinary experience will also evolve with the introduction of a completely refreshed signature restaurant, offering guests and locals bold flavors and locally inspired ingredients. In addition to the new dining offering, The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami will continue to welcome guests to its six long-standing dining venues, including RUMBAR, Cantina Beach, Dune, Scoop, Stefano’s, and Key Pantry. Each space will be refreshed to enhance the overall experience, ensuring continuity and charm that aesthetically aligns with the resort’s broader transformation.

Beyond the culinary experience, enhancements will extend across the property’s impressive suite of amenities. Guests will enjoy an upgraded experience across the swimming pools, fitness center, The Club Lounge, and the Cliff Drysdale Tennis Center, the largest tennis facilities of any Ritz-Carlton resort. The hotel also boasts 37,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, making it a favorite among leisure travelers and business groups alike.

“The transformation represents a remarkable investment in the property’s future that will create an elevated hospitality experience for new and returning guests,” said Alessandro Colantonio, Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer at Gencom. “With this latest capital investment, we remain committed to ensuring that this iconic resort continues to set the standard for luxury in Miami.”

The property is a cornerstone of Gencom’s prestigious portfolio of branded properties, which includes The Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch, The Ritz-Carlton New Orleans, The Ritz-Carlton Philadelphia, The St. Regis Chicago, and Nekajui, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve.

Today, Gencom’s portfolio spans nearly $8 billion in assets under management and under development and includes 23 owned assets with more than 6,000 hotel rooms around the world. Through its operating affiliates Pyramid Global Hospitality and Convene, Gencom oversees over 200 properties and more than 2 million square feet of premium meeting, event, and flexible office space.

Nestled in the enchanting Nassau, Bahamas, this experience was a sublime blend of luxury, adventure, and unparalleled service that redefined our perspective on yacht charters.

As I stepped aboard the tender—a meticulously outfitted 42’ Scout center console—I was immediately greeted by the attentive staff of Ikonic Yachts as well as their Co-Founder AJ Blackmon. Our adventure began with a sumptuous lunch prepared with a local flair, setting a tone of relaxation and indulgence for the days ahead. The Contigo boasts a veritable treasure trove of water toys that heightened the excitement; from waverunners to hydrofoils and even a full inflatable beach club, every desire for thrilling adventure was catered to.

Exploring the Waters of Nassau

After lunch, we ventured out into the azure waters surrounding Nassau, where the tantalizing sunset provided the backdrop for our island cruise aboard the tender. As we navigated through the beautiful waterways and serene coves, the atmosphere was elevated to sheer bliss. Upon returning to the Contigo, a lavish steak dinner awaited, paired with expertly crafted cocktails, truly marking the end of a perfect day.

A Haven of Comfort and Elegance

The interiors of Contigo left me in awe. Designed by the renowned Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture, the yacht’s elegant spaces were not only beautifully decorated but also designed to provide ample room for relaxation. With five luxurious suites, each offering a sanctuary-like atmosphere, including a full-beam master suite complete with his and her bathrooms, there was more than enough space for accommodation and comfort.

The outdoor decks were just as inviting. With spacious lounging areas and tropical sanctuary vibes, I relished every moment spent next to the pool and indulging in the top-deck jacuzzi. These spaces quickly became my favorite spots after a day filled with excitement, where I could simply unwind and soak in the exquisite surroundings.

Culinary Delights

The next morning kicked off with further explorations on the waverunners, exhilarating rides that made me feel alive as I raced through the turquoise waters. Following our thrilling escapades, the onboard chef prepared an incredible Seabass lunch, showcasing the culinary expertise available aboard, fresh ingredients and the local catch. Dining at sea with such exceptional quality added depth to the overall experience.

Performance, Privacy, and Personalization

What truly elevates the experience aboard Contigo is not just the yacht's remarkable design and features but also the dedication of the crew. With a professional team that can cater to every need, my luxury yacht charter felt personal and attentive. The crew consistently went above and beyond, ensuring that each detail was handled with precision and care.

The yacht itself features a full-displacement hull made of GRP, providing stability at anchor and a cruising speed of 14 knots thanks to twin MAN engines. With a remarkable range of up to 4,000 nautical miles, Contigo is truly equipped to take you on adventures around the globe.

My experience aboard Contigo was a testament to the philosophy of Ikonic Yachts as the first yachting family office advisory firm. Terra and Turnberry To Begin Construction of Grand Hyatt Miami Beach After Locking Down $392 Million In Financing

Terra and Turnberry, two of South Florida’s leading real estate development firms, have secured $392 million in construction financing that will help advance the development of Grand Hyatt Miami Beach, an 800-room, 17-story property adjacent to the Miami Beach Convention Center.

Terra and Turnberry, two of South Florida’s leading real estate development firms, have secured $392 million in construction financing that will help advance the development of Grand Hyatt Miami Beach, an 800-room, 17-story property adjacent to the Miami Beach Convention Center. The financing was provided by TYKO Capital, a multi-billion-dollar commercial real estate private equity and private credit investment management platform, backed by Elliott Investment Management and led by Adi Chugh. With pre-construction sitework already completed, the financing paves the way for the project’s groundbreaking, with delivery slated for late 2027.

"With construction financing in place and strong public support behind us, we are eager to bring this landmark hotel to life," said David Martin, CEO of Terra, and Jackie Soffer, Chairman and CEO of Turnberry. "Grand Hyatt Miami Beach will fill a longstanding gap in Miami Beach’s hospitality offerings, elevating the conventions and events that come to our community while creating jobs, new revenue and economic impact."

Strategically located at 17th Street and Convention Center Drive, Grand Hyatt Miami Beach will provide seamless access to the newly renovated Miami Beach Convention Center. With resort-style amenities, the hotel will aim to serve as Miami Beach’s first major convention hotel adjacent to and connected to the Miami Beach Convention Center, enhancing the city’s ability to attract major national and international clients.

"Grand Hyatt Miami Beach is a game-changer for major meeting and event planners and a transformative addition to our convention center ecosystem,” said David Whitaker, President & CEO of the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau. “With an unmatched location seamlessly connected to the Miami Beach Convention Center and just steps from world-renowned Miami Beach, this hotel creates a one-of-a-kind experience for meeting planners and attendees alike. As a premier, year-round destination, Greater Miami is already a powerhouse for major events, and this addition solidifies our position as a top choice for high-profile conventions and meetings from around the globe."

“Miami Beach is an iconic, grand destination known for its dynamic energy, cultural richness and world-class hospitality, and we are thrilled to introduce our Grand Hyatt brand to this key leisure and business travel market,” said Pete Sears, Group President, Americas for Hyatt. “Grand Hyatt Miami Beach will work to seamlessly blend the destination’s colorful, vibrant spirit with the brand’s bold architecture, inventive restaurants and luxury accommodations. We look forward to offering guests and World of Hyatt members a new way to experience Miami Beach in a setting that will be as inspiring as the city itself.”

Designed by Arquitectonica’s Bernardo Fort-Brescia, the property will feature 12 floors of guest rooms, including 52 suites with sweeping views of Miami Beach, along with four floors of meeting and ballroom spaces that will complement the Miami Beach Convention Center’s event programming. Guests will be able to enjoy a resort-style pool deck with panoramic city views, a signature restaurant, lobby lounge and bar, as well as retail space designed to activate the street-level pedestrian experience. Additionally, a climate-controlled skybridge will provide seamless access between the hotel and the Miami Beach Convention Center, enhancing connectivity and convenience for event attendees.

The financing news comes on the heels of a $75 million grant that the development was awarded through the Miami Beach Redevelopment Agency in late 2024, underscoring its role as a critical economic driver for the region. The grant reflects strong public and private support for the hotel’s potential to enhance Miami Beach’s global competitiveness as a premier destination for meetings, conferences and events.

The development also plans to introduce new public spaces, pedestrian-friendly promenades, bike-sharing stations, and connectivity to public transit, aligning with Miami Beach’s broader sustainability and resilience goals while providing access to the city’s nearby Lincoln Road district.

Grand Hyatt Miami Beach has been years in the making, with plans for the hotel overwhelmingly approved by Miami Beach voters in 2018. The project is a key component of the city’s efforts to transform its Convention Center District into a more dynamic, walkable and economically vibrant hub.
