With a design rooted in warm wood, leather, and subtle contemporary touches, BH Prime offers a sophisticated yet approachable atmosphere in line with the resort’s Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond status.

BH Prime’s menu centers on classic steakhouse offerings with global accents. Highlights include the Miyazaki A5 Japanese Wagyu New York Strip, a 32 oz. USDA Prime Longbone Tomahawk, and a 14 oz. USDA Prime Boneless Ribeye, served with a signature smoking tableside finish. The raw bar features selections like chilled jumbo shrimp, seasonal oysters, and a royal seafood tower, while main courses also include miso-glazed sea bass and Ora King salmon with Mediterranean-inspired accompaniments.

In a nod to the space’s previous identity, a selection of upscale burgers remains on the menu, including a Bison Burger with maple pepper bacon, cambozola cheese, and Buffalo Trace BBQ sauce. The sides and starters are indulgent, ranging from truffle parmesan fries to lobster-infused “Angry Shrimp” and Gruyère mac & cheese.

BH Prime is also introducing a caviar program in partnership with luxury purveyor Petrossian, offering access to rare selections such as Tsar Imperial Ossetra and Royal Daurenki. The bar program was developed in collaboration with international mixologists from Hong Kong, Singapore, and Bangkok, and includes a curated wine list and an inventive cocktail selection. Executive Pastry Chef Nagypsy leads the dessert offerings, with standout items like a salted caramel crème brûlée and a layered chocolate ganache cake served with Cuban coffee ice cream.

The concept was brought to life by by General Manager Carlo Javakhia, a veteran of the global restaurant scene with past projects in Athens, Dubai, and Doha. He’s joined by Executive Chef Adrian Colameco, a Florida native whose cooking blends classical technique with Latin influences. Their leadership is complemented by the resort’s Director of Food & Beverage Fabien Gnemmi, whose Michelin-starred experience across Europe adds further depth to the project.

BH Prime seats 58 guests total and is open daily from 4:30 PM to 11:00 PM. The restaurant is open to the public, and in-room dining service is available for hotel guests. As Bal Harbour continues to attract affluent travelers and residents, BH Prime adds a new layer of luxury to the area's dining scene, positioning itself as a go-to for elegant evening meals in one of Miami’s most upscale beachfront neighborhoods.

Construction has officially begun on Rivage Bal Harbour, a new ultra-luxury condominium project located in one of South Florida’s most exclusive communities. The project is a collaboration between Related Group, Rockpoint, and Two Roads Development, with architecture by the renowned firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) and interiors designed by Rottet Studio.

Set between the Intracoastal Waterway and 200 feet of oceanfront, the development will offer 56 high-end residences, designed to blend modern luxury with South Florida’s natural beauty. The homes, referred to as “sky villas,” will range from 3,300 to nearly 13,000 square feet, providing features akin to a single-family home, including in-unit elevator access and private parking garages. Each residence will also have expansive terraces offering direct views of the ocean and Biscayne Bay.

The design incorporates open-concept floor plans, with custom kitchens featuring Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances and high-end Italian finishes in bathrooms and closets. The development aims to appeal to luxury buyers seeking an elevated living experience in Bal Harbour, a community known for its exclusivity and proximity to the Bal Harbour Shops.

Amenities at Rivage are extensive, with over 25,000 square feet dedicated to wellness and recreation. These include a fitness pavilion, hammam spa with hot/cold plunge pools, private treatment rooms, and outdoor pickle and paddle ball courts. For more relaxed pursuits, residents will have access to private dining services, a cocktail lounge, a VR game simulator, and a kids’ playroom. In addition, resort-style services such as a 24/7 residential butler and concierge will be available.

The project is expected to be completed in 2027, with construction managed by Coastal Construction Group. According to the development team, Rivage aims to offer an exclusive residential option in the supply-constrained Miami market, meeting growing demand for high-end properties in the region.

Douglas Elliman Development Marketing (DEDM) is handling the sales for Rivage Bal Harbour, which is positioned to attract buyers seeking luxury living in one of South Florida’s most sought-after locales.

“Bal Harbour is undeniably one of South Florida’s most iconic neighborhoods, and this property will raise its profile even higher,” said Jon Paul Pérez, Related’s President. “With a once-in-a-generation location, stunning design and five-star service, Rivage offers a rare opportunity for the world’s most elite buyers. We are proud to begin construction on a property that not only honors Bal Harbour’s glamorous history but also delivers an unparalleled living experience.”

La Baia, Bay Harbor Islands, the new luxury boutique bayfront condominium and private marina by New York visionary and developer Ian Bruce Eichner, CEO of The Continuum Company, LLC, has broken ground. The Continuum Company hosted a groundbreaking ceremony with Suffolk Construction on April 13, the appointed general contractor of the condominium, and La Baia’s exclusive sales brokerage Pgutman LLC headed by Phil Gutman, to commemorate the start of construction on the project site located at 9201 East Bay Harbor Drive.

In addition to announcing this milestone, The Continuum Company has completely sold-out the 68 luxurious residences which launched sales in October. The unprecedented sales have been attributed to the property’s tranquil cove-like setting, well-appointed resort-style amenities, and large, airy offerings that have La Baia continuously outpacing the rest of the area’s luxury condominium market.

“This is a day of tremendous pride for us,” said Eichner, the founder of The Continuum Company, LLC. “Not only are we delighted to be hosting this momentous occassion so soon in the process, but La Baia’s extraordinary sell-out is a true testament to the unique lifestyle and transformative potential of the Bay Harbor Islands, one of Miami’s most coveted hidden gems.”

Featuring a highly sought-after location on one of the last large-scale land parcels remaining in South Florida’s exclusive Bay Harbor Islands, La Baia will feature just 68 luxurious residences with 20-boat slips and more than 30,000 sq. ft. of resort-style amenities. Sized from one- to four-bedrooms -- and spanning between 1,100 to 2,500 square feet -- each La Baia home will be delivered completely finished and ready to be designed, decorated and furnished. Every residence features well-appointed fixtures and finishes curated by New York-based Durukan Design, and kitchens featuring custom Italian cabinetry by Snaidero and Miele appliances. Ceiling heights range between nine- to 10- feet, there are spacious his-and-her walk-in closets, and balconies with glass railings offer unobstructed views of Biscayne Bay, the Atlantic Ocean, Bal Harbour, Miami Beach and downtown Miami.

“Featuring the exceptional design talents of Revuelta Architecture, Durukan Design, and Enzo Enea, La Baia introduces a new dimension in urban, waterfront living that has attracted an overwhelming response from savvy buyers from the U.S. and around the world,” said Phil Gutman, President of Pgutman LLC, the project’s exclusive broker. “Combining spectacular style, unmatched exclusivity and an array of first-class amenities, La Baia celebrates the very best Miami has to offer.”

Offering the best of a yachtsman’s lifestyle, La Baia features a 20-slip marina available exclusively to residents, with direct ocean access via the Haulover Inlet that can take residents to the Florida Keys, the Bahamas, and beyond. Other waterfront amenities include paddle boarding, kayaking and more.

A myriad of additional resort-style amenities include a rooftop terrace with breathtaking ocean views, featuring a pool with poolside chaise lounge chairs, tropical heated soaking spa, children’s play area with an interactive splash pad, and shaded lounge areas for dining and entertaining.

The third-level breezeway garden offers residents a covered contemplative seating area and a reflection lawn for a yoga session or family gathering, while a Residents’ Club Room and state-of-the-art fitness center are among the property’s other top-line amenities.

“Building this gorgeous, boutique condominium on one of the last large-scale land parcels remaining in Bay Harbor Islands is exciting and special for our team,” said Peter Tuffo, president of the south region of Suffolk. “We will apply innovative technologies and our expertise in building luxury, waterfront residential projects to bring the stunning vision of La Baia to life.”

La Baia, Bay Harbor Islands is slated for project completion and delivery in November 2023. Continuum Company expects to launch a north tower in the near future.

PROFILE Exclusive: Inside Onda Residences In Bay Harbor Islands With Developer Valerio Morabito

PROFILEmiami caught up with Valerio Morabito, CEO of Morabito Properties, to discuss his newest joint venture condo development with Ugo Colombo’s CMC Group, Onda Residences in Miami’s Bay Harbor Islands. Designed by world-renowned architect Bernardo Fort-Brescia of Arquitectonica, the 8-story boutique building’s waterfront location will boast more than 300 feet of bay frontage.

PROFILEmiami caught up with Valerio Morabito, CEO of Morabito Properties, to discuss his newest joint venture condo development with Ugo Colombo’s CMC Group, Onda Residences in Miami’s Bay Harbor Islands. Designed by world-renowned architect Bernardo Fort-Brescia of Arquitectonica, the 8-story boutique building’s waterfront location will boast more than 300 feet of bay frontage, a private marina, and sweeping views of Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. Construction of Onda is estimated to begin this November with completion slated for 2023.

PROFILEmiami: What are your plans for Onda and what does “Onda” mean?

Valerio: When my partner Ugo Colombo and I were envisioning Onda, we had a “less is more” philosophy in mind – an intimate boutique-style condominium with large residences and luxury amenities. The project’s most unique feature of all, it’s waterfront location on the shores of the exclusive Bay Harbor Islands, was our biggest inspiration.

Onda is the Italian word for “wave.” With over 300 feet of direct bay frontage, the property will include a private marina for residents, a water sports launch dock with available kayaks, paddle boards and inflatables, and direct ocean access through Miami’s Haulover inlet.

PROFILEmiami: Tell me about the building’s architectural design.

Valerio: We chose Bernardo Fort Brescia of Arquitectonica for Onda’s architectural design. Bernardo is a world class architect that knows how to translate the beauty of this city into design. That's what he successfully did with Onda, reflecting the movement of the water and the beauty of the bay into the building’s exterior façade with its undulating balconies.

We have always imagined a place immersed in nature, facing the crystal waters of Biscayne Bay and overlooking Haulover natural park, an oasis of peace and tranquility. Steps away from the best shopping, restaurants, beaches and schools in this city. A place where people can connect with nature, enjoy watersports and boating thanks to the marina and the immediate proximity to the ocean. A place where residents can relax and reinvigorate in the spa and gym. A small, private and fully amenitized building in a unique location that makes life easy and filled with great experiences.

PROFILEmiami: What about the rest of the design team and the interiors?

Valerio: We partnered with A++ Human Sustainable Architecture to imagine the building’s interior design and amenity spaces, and with Enzo Enea of Enea Garden Design to create a signature landscape design for the surrounding grounds.

Onda’s interior décor is being imagined by Carlo and Paolo Colombo, the creative masterminds and founders behind A++. The partners, who are both from Milan, the design capital of the world, have built their reputation by designing and building architectural projects – from hotels and restaurants, to residences and commercial spaces – inspired and heavily rooted on the vision of sustainability and well-being.

Their design of the building incorporates natural materials and textures amid light wooden floors, stone and marble accents, and mid-century style furnishings – all in tones of white, beige, gray, brown and gold. Lush green foliage and planters are incorporated into every space, with views of the turquoise waters of Biscayne Bay on full display.

We wanted Miami’s tropical spirit to come together with an Italian sense of style and elegance, and I believe we have achieved it through these great collaborations.

PROFILEmiami: What makes Bay Harbor Islands so unique?

Valerio: Bay Harbor Islands has been Miami’s best kept secret. It’s a quiet and charming neighborhood surrounded by some of South Florida’s finest shopping, beaches, and schools. The area is synonymous with an upscale, family-oriented lifestyle that appeals to buyers from across the country and around the world. You can be close to the ocean without having to deal with the traffic and hustle-and-bustle of Miami Beach.

PROFILEmiami: What types of buyers are purchasing residences at Onda?

Valerio: The vast majority – more than 80 percent – of our buyers are coming from across the U.S., particularly the northeast markets. We are seeing an uptick in demand from domestic buyers looking to relocate from major U.S. cities lured by South Florida’s quality of life, lower business and living expenses, and tax-friendly policies.

Our buyers are attracted the quality of our finishes and construction, our large residences, our private boutique model, our amenities – and overall, our unmatched waterfront lifestyle. Onda provides all the conveniences of luxury condo living on the Miami waterfront, but at less cost than a single-family house.

Our private marina and direct ocean access via the Haulover inlet is a huge selling point for buyers with boats.

The Former Site of Bal Harbour Yacht Club Sells For Record $54.931 Million As Luxury Home Site

The former site of the Bal Harbour Yacht Club has sold for a county record of $54.931 million after hitting the market in March for $65 million. The transaction was overseen by Tony Imbesi of Douglas Elliman who represented the seller, and Dina Goldentayer of Douglas Elliman who represented the buyer.

The 80,040 SF lot was recently converted into a residential home site by real estate investor Joseph Imbesi, who purchased the Bal Harbour Club in the 1990’s. Adam Neuman purchased another property from Imbesi on Bal Harbour Marina just last week for $44 million.

Located at 200 Bal Bay Drive, the 80,040 SF lot is where the Bal Harbour Yacht Club building, designed by Alfred Browning Parker, once stood. The property is a peninsula with 915’ of waterfront spanning three sides and also features 200’ of road frontage. It comes with 7 boat slips on the inside of the protected waterway where the buyer will have the riparian rights to build new docks or helipad. Land under water on inside of marina is privately owned so you have the ability to do something creative that extends far off of the seawall.

Imbesi purchased the shares of the Bal Harbour Club in the 1990s for $19,000,000. The Bal Harbour Club owned 5.5 acres on the beach, where Oceana Bal Harbour is now located and 10 acres on the bay, where the marina sits. The properties were owned by the proprietary members of the club and they wanted to sell so Imbesi bought all of the individual shares to gain control of the company and the assets that it owned.
